Hotel MFELICE

Room size ok. Towels worn or too much used. No toiletries or Coffee Kettle in rooms.
Reception and breakfast on 7th floor. Breakfast spread is minimal, with no hot breakfast like omlet etc. Instead , scrambled egg every day. Very few veg options leaving only bread and salad for the vegetarian people.
Power points not working many rooms. However , on request immediately attended by front desk with resolve. However with group bookings this may not be manageable for all or many guests at the same time.

Had to cancel my trip because I needed a k-eta and took too long to get it. Missed my flight, wasted a big sum of money and this was my first stay. Was not entitled to a refund, however Mfelice fully refunded me after hearing my situation.

Sound proofing is almost non existent. Continuously stomping and banging on the wall sounds.

There is zero ventilation in the room. The air in the toilet actually felt much better than the room. Requested for a room change, and was told that all rooms are the same.

Quite possibly the worst hotel that I have stayed in.

I have no idea how people would rate this place more than 1 star. Booked a 2 night stay. You have to go thru a small entrance in a building, take an elevator to the 7th floor for the lobby. Upon checking in, I asked for an additional room key. They asked for a KRW 10000 deposit. First red flag. Never been to a hotel where 2 guests are on the reservation and they asked for a deposit for a key. No, this is not some special key made of rare earth metals. It’s your run of the mill plastic card.

2nd ref flag, I asked for a room on a different floor, call me superstitious, but the answer was no. No rooms available because cleaning. Huh? Hotel was empty.

3rd red flag, hallways are dark, there is an odor in the hallways and there were some large holes in the walls.

4th red flag, the room itself. Carpets are heavily stained. I DO NOT recommend walking barefoot. Afraid to ask for slippers, they may charge me KRW 10000. Walls are stained and the heater would not turn off. No option to turn on AC. Bathroom has smell like someone just used it. Smell won’t go away.

Too late to cancel. My rate came with breakfast. Will update review after I try it. I don’t have high hopes on the food.

What ever they wash the sheets here with will give you a rash and be aware that the AC system is turned off in October so your only option is to open the windows and listen to street noise all night. I've stayed here three times and each time I've got a rash from the sheets. I assumed it was a coincidence after the second stay. But with it happening a third time it's no coincidence. Nice people work here, but I won't recommend staying here.
