Hotel Manu Seoul

Decent place to stay. Bit tricky to get to the first time, even taxis get confused by the confluence of roads. Quality breakfast.

Hotel Manu was a great spot, within walking distance to Seoul station. The room was basic but had everything we needed for our short stay. Particular shout out to the staff that stayed back past 1am to allow us to check in after our flight was severely delayed! Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The 4 stars are mainly commending the location of the hotel. It is rather convenient between Seoul and Hoehyeondong stations. It is also near Namdaemun market and walking distance to Myeongdong. The lobby is situated on the 2nd floor or the "L" floor connecting to the bridge (towards Seoul station area). Considerably sufficient restaurants and even a GS25 nearby.

Not sure how old is the hotel and I find it lacking surveillance cameras. The B2 leading to the gym has no cameras the last time I observed I cluding the gym itself. Equipment also seems rather old or unmaintained. It is really cold during the winter; don't remember seeing any heater. The hotel's room has a heater but it does not heat the room efficiently; you have to stand right below it to feel the warmth. Hopefully, they will get an upgrade.

Overall, I feel that the stay is good enough for beginners in Seoul.

I stayed here for one night mainly because of its close proximity to Seoul Station, and I’d recommend it for the location alone. It’s ideal if you’re arriving late from Incheon Airport and just need a place to rest before continuing your travels.

The room I booked was small and felt cramped. The bidet wasn’t working initially, but staff were able to fix it promptly. Finding the entrance was also a bit tricky—you have to go through a restaurant to reach the elevators that lead to the reception area.

One great convenience is that you can use the sky bridge from reception to access Seoul Station directly. You can also request a map from the front desk.

For those who enjoy walking or running, Namsan Tower is nearby and offers a good challenge. There’s a scenic running trail around the tower as well, which I discovered by chance while descending.

It was very nice at the hotel nice and comfy. The staff were excellent the room was clean . The breakfast in the morning was very good. The young lady who got everything together in the restaurant was very kind and patient. I was the first one in and I bothered her more than once for coffee while she was getting things together Thank you to Ginn.
