Very clean hotel and extremely friendly staff. Excellent location, near alot of restaurants, including halal restaurants.
I attempted to check in on December 28, 2025, using my name for a room that had been reserved by my friend. The receptionist informed me that she could not check me in because I did not know the reservation number. When I asked why my name and identification were not sufficient, she explained that it was due to the possibility of duplicate guest names.
I have traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels in different countries, and in virtually all cases presenting a valid ID, most often my passport, has been sufficient for check-in. Requiring a reservation number in this situation is unnecessary and reflects poor front-desk management, making the check-in process inconvenient for guests.
Moreover, I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. I am very disappointed with how the staff handled this situation and with the level of customer service provided.
Next level epic place. The restaurant on level 16 is the best food ever. Service is awesome, got to know the head chef while I stayed here, absolute legend of a man. Can not fault this place, it’s perfect. Rooms were great too
The good:
The location of the hotel is pretty good.
There is an option to open a window.
The bad:
Service not great.
The air-conditioning is directed on the bad, and it blows air directly of the guests while their are sleeping.
This is terrible, and can easily make you sick.
The was no "weak-cooling" option.
There is no option to close the air-conditioning because is makes the room hot and suffocating.
We asked for an additional blanket so each of us would be covered while sleeping and won't get cold because of the air-conditioning.
They asked us to pay for it 80$(!!!).
So we decided to manipulate the window to be open during the night instead, which did the trick mostly.
We also had a cup of tea in the room and it took them 3 days to replace those cups with fresh cups, and it happened only after I specifically asked them to.
I would expect it to be a part of the room cleaning arrangements.
In addition, the bed were extremely firm, and it was hard to fall asleep on.
Most of the nights I stayed awake until 3am.
Overall, a very disappointing experience in an overly prices medium hotel.
Stayed 1 night. One of best hotels i stayed. Only thing minor. The other korean hotels provided free water bottles. They charged 1000krw for additional bottles after 2 complimentary. I would still use it when back in Daejeon.
