Hotel ENTRA Gangnam

Boutique hotel in the Gangnam area which its price does not match up with its quality. Booked the Grand River King but the room is not as the photo shown on its website, and the river view is obstructed by buildings in front.

Although the room is spacious with a sizable bed, furnitures (especially the table) are worn off and lack spaces for two people to sit in and relax. Water will spill out when taking shower and signal of the TV in the bathroom is unstable as well. One of the worst design is that the toilet is separated from the sink the bathroom.

On accessibility, it takes about 10 minutes uphill walk to/from Apgujeong Rodeo or Cheongdam Stations. Convenience stores and restaurants are located in proximity though. It is better to take taxi there.

Taking the price into account, this hotel is not recommended and it would be better to stay in other touristic area like Myeongdong or better and renounced hotels.

Hotel Review – Not Recommended

I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The property is outdated, the furniture is worn, and the walls were visibly dirty. The room I was given was not suitable for a four-star hotel. I had two separate reservations — one for two nights and another for three nights — but the room was substandard from the beginning.

I requested to cancel the second reservation due to the lack of cleanliness and overall poor conditions, which do not meet the expectations of a four-star rating. They only refunded two nights and unfairly charged me for one night, despite their failure to meet basic standards. The staff was neither honest nor clear, and the customer service was extremely poor.

This hotel is a bad choice — there are far better options in the area, such as Marriott or Four Seasons, which offer much better value, cleaner rooms, and a much higher level of service. The star rating of this hotel is completely misleading. I would strongly advise against staying

A good location Seoul, but no subways near, 4 min bus station, too many luxury shops and car dealerships.
Its on a main street with noises.

I stayed one night at Hotel Entra Gangnam in a Superior Single Room. The room was quite small, but very well-organized and exceptionally clean. Everything felt modern and efficient, making it a comfortable stop even for just a short stay.

The hotel is in a convenient spot for getting around Gangnam, with easy access to shops and public transit. However, if you’re hoping to explore Seoul’s nightlife, places like Hongdae and Itaewon are definitely on the farther side, so be prepared for a longer ride.

There was no breakfast included with my stay, but for a quick overnight visit, that wasn’t a big issue. The staff were polite and professional, and the hotel overall felt well-maintained and calm.

While the price felt a bit high for the room size and lack of extras, the cleanliness, location, and service made it a solid choice for a short, no-fuss stay in Gangnam.
