Hotel Carlton

smells like cigarettes, the ceilings have smoke stains, and hair everywhere. sheets are stained grey, air purifier does nothing, and the shower has lots of grime. convenient enough for a quick stay because it’s right in front of the subway station

Only negative was the mattress protector made the bed very hot to sleep. Otherwise for a short stay it had everything we needed.

The hygiene is absolutely terrible. I asked to change rooms because so much hair was coming out of the bed, but they told me they were short on rooms and asked if I could just sleep there for the night. Since I was on crutches and had difficulty moving, I just went ahead and slept, but it wasn't just one or two pieces. I sat on the bed and tried to clean up the visible hair and fur, but it kept coming out endlessly—enough to fill a whole handful. It was the worst experience. At first, I thought maybe a few strands of visible fur might fall out while cleaning, but I couldn't understand how hair kept coming out from inside the duvet. I thought they had hidden all their hair inside. Other places are paying more attention to hygiene because of COVID-19, but this place is literally the worst. I absolutely do not recommend it. I would rather go to a clean, run-down inn.

The room was filthy and looked way too old-fashioned compared to the photos...

The photos seem like a scam ㅠㅠ There was hair on the towels and bathrobe, and I even found hair on the duvet...

I paid for 4 hours to enter, but they told me to leave after only 3 hours and started arguing. When I asked why, they didn't give me a proper reason and just kept lecturing me as if they were scolding me. Even the owner was like that... It seems like the owner and the staff are just alike.

There are many good places in Jeongja; this is the first time I've ever stayed in a motel like this. It makes me feel disgusted and sick ㅠㅠ

I liked that place. Very clean and comfortable. Particularity hotel has non smoking room
