Hotel Amare

Highly do NOT recommend. Rooms are run down. Not cleaned well. Only stayed due to limited choices when attending a concert. Area is also sketchy especially in evening. Workers were helpful IF they are the front desk. Otherwise you are SOL. This is always posted. I couldn’t even call cause the phone in my room was broken. I got moved 3x and finally got tired and had to limited time and just stayed. Thankfully was only there for 4 days. The lady was helpful at front and helped order me food delivery in evenings. Reviews on booking sites are false.

The room was very spacious for a solo traveler. My problem is that the room smells like cigarettes the whole time I stayed here. The bed sheets had stains on them, and they smell like dry sweats and cigarettes. They even had used shampoo & conditioner in the shower. They don’t provide bath towels so if you decide to stay here make sure to bring your own. The AC works very well so that really help especially with how hot the weather was. This hotel has a 7/11 right outside so that was very convenient for me. The train station is 10-20mins away so you’d have to catch the bus to the train station. The bus stop is right outside in front of the 7/11 so that was also convenient. The staffs at the front desk were very welcoming and attentive and they’ve answered any question I had. They also speak intermediate English so that was a good experience for me.

The room smelled a bit like cigarettes, but it was spacious for the price and the bathtub was nice.

A very nice hotel! Clean, neat, well-maintained, and very quiet, despite the karaoke scene around the area. The room has everything you need, even a kettle with coffee, tea, and cookies!
The only downside (for me) is the 30-minute walk to the metro. However, buses run quite frequently.
