H Hostel Itaewon

I highly recommend H Hostel! The interior and rooms feel much more like a boutique hotel than a traditional hostel. One of the best features is the elevator—a total lifesaver for heavy luggage since many hostels only have stairs. I also loved the aesthetic 5th-floor lounge and the rooftop, which offers a stunning view of the Itaewon neighborhood (you can even see Namsan Tower on a clear day!). It’s conveniently located near bus stops and the train station, yet tucked away on the quieter side of the district, so you get all the convenience without the noise of the famous Itaewon nightlife.

Clean and spacious room. We stayed as a family of 3 ands are very comfortable. Breakfast is self-made and self-clean but it laid out well and everything needed is provided. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hallways and adjoining rooms were quiet in the evenings. The location is very near a train stop which allows you to get around easily. The neighborhood around has lots of shops restaurants and cafes to explore. Our two favorites were Pig Restaurant 2 and Cadenza Coffee.

A bit overrated in my opinion. The rooms are tiny and weren't particularly clean. Plus, the shower was frustrating—the hot water pressure was so weak it was just a drip rather than a steady flow.
The standout feature was the self-service breakfast. The common area is also nice and roomy.

While the atmosphere is reminiscent of Star Hostel Taipei Main Station, the quality and service fall far short of the original.

couldn't imagine a better place for this money. affordable yet perfect! the location at Itaewon makes it easy to get anywhere you want - the metro station is just 3 min away. I lived in a separate room, which was enough, cause I used it almost for sleeping only. bathrooms and shower rooms were 100% clean. and breakfast was good as well

and, I don't know, but the view is breathtaking! got up to the roof every day - it's definitely worth it!

the employees speak English, so it's pretty convenient for those who don't speak Korean yet (just like me)

Nice room and/or bed for an affordable price. Great location near the Itaewon Station and many local restaurants nearby. Self serve breakfast each day from 8am-10am with coffee, tea, cereal, toast, egg cooking station. Water bottle filling stations on floors 3 and 5. And there are clothes washing machine and drying machine on site. The staff are very helpful but it would be nice if you could get fresh towels every 3 days or so if staying for like a week or something
