Guesthouse The Kims

Absolutely brilliant! My friend and I adored staying here, and had we known how easy it was to access busier hubs of Seoul and quiet this area was, we would've stayed here the whole time we were in Seoul. Mr & Mrs Kim create a beautiful homely environment and being guests together every morning we home cooked breakfast.

I had the most incredible experience there. Every morning we had breakfast together with the hosts and the other guests - so I met a lot of amazing people. Mrs Kim was an amazing cook, everything she made tasted extraordinary. Mrs and Mr Kim were very generous, they invited us to the Lunar New Year dinner, took us to a Hanok Village nearby, celebrated my birthday with me and helped me move into my university dorm. Truly amazing hosts!

A really lovely guesthouse with very friendly owners. We loved staying here. It was nice n warm, had comfortable beds, and the breakfast was delicious 😋 The area is really nice too, very peaceful and quiet.

We had an incredible stay at this guesthouse in Seoul. The owners, Sam and Young, were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Young’s homemade breakfasts were truly the highlight of our stay—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to each day.

Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was ideal, with easy access to the centre of Seoul, yet still surrounded by nature. We loved being able to walk locally to the township, explore the fortress trail, and even hike Mt. Bugaksan right from the doorstep.

A perfect blend of city convenience and natural beauty. Highly recommended

While this location is not in the middle of downtown, I would 100% stay here again. The hosts know English, and are kind, adventurous, and interesting people. They have traveled the world, and have this guest house in order for the world to visit them! They go on vacation at the start of the year, so you can't book then. The rooms are modern and calming with views of the mountains and forest.

I would not recommend this place if you have mobility issues or knee pain. There are different floors in the house.
