Stayed here for a week. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with the service to match it. It is a quiet area of Seoul, it will take you about 30 to 40 min with public transport to get to the main sights. If you check in late, finding a dinner spot could be a bit of a problem. Regardless, great place for a home base when you visit the city.

Fantastic staff. Impeccable rooms. Delicious breakfasts. Honestly cannot fault anything about my experience. I stayed for 6 nights with family, each in a room of our own. Nobody had any complaints. The place was spotless always, with friendly, approachable staff. I'll be back, that is all I have to say.

On the day we were checking out and heading to the airport, our taxi driver had stopped at the wrong location and was unable to find us. Mr. Vlad stepped in without hesitation, kindly communicating with the taxi driver directly over the phone to guide him to the correct pick-up point. He also assisted us with our luggage, ensuring our departure was smooth and that we were on our way to the airport without unnecessary delay.

For a family with young children trying to catch a flight, his quick thinking and willingness to go the extra mile gave us great peace of mind. Mr. Vlad’s warm and proactive approach is a true reflection of the high standards of hospitality your hotel upholds.

This was my 2nd stay at the SDC Grand Mercure Yongsan. Booked the 2 bedroom suite, for a group of 3. One of the best hotels in Seoul. Ammenities are top tier, service, and communication was accomodating and made the overall experience smooth. The baseball simulation and golf simulation was entertaining and a great time. Housekeeping was thorough and kept our room clean. Room service was convenient and overall the food was excellent both during room service and during breakfast at the lounge. Reception was accomodating with our requests, very hospitable, and well trained. Booked the transportation service from airport to hotel and was very satisfied with the smooth communication, and helped ease some of my anxieties. The warm and open interactions from the hotel staff kept our brief stay at the hotel welcoming and comfortable. Always a pleasure to stay at SDC Grand Mercure Yongsan. My 1st stay was equally as comfortable, and the 2nd cemented the hotel as one of my favorite stays when visiting Seoul.
