Golden City Hotel Dongdaemun

The room is quite narrow, but enough for me. There is breakfast and quite many options for breakfast menu. Cannot eat in the hotel lobby.

It’s close to convenient store and cafe and fried chicken and Korean noodles . Breakfast at b1 . WiFi well done

Room are too small even luggage no place to put it. A bit dirty and also VERY SMELLY.
They just spray some air freshener and said room are full can’t do anything’s.

The service here is terrible. Everyone is rude.
The rooms are ok. Equivalent of Motel 6 in the US and Hotel 81 in Singapore. You get what you pay for.
There was a toothpick sticking out from under the bed skirt. It was still there at there after 4 days of housekeeping. You go figure what that means.
Again, you get what you pay for.

The room was filthy—dust on every surface, stains on the sheets, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. It was honestly hard to feel comfortable touching anything.

The service was just as bad. Staff were unhelpful and, worse, rude when I asked for basic assistance. When I politely asked for new towels (because the ones in the room were stained), the receptionist rolled their eyes and acted like I was bothering them.

What’s worse is that there was no apology or effort to make things right. The entire atmosphere felt careless and unwelcoming.

I strongly do not recommend staying here. There are far better options nearby for the same price—or even less—where at least cleanliness and basic courtesy are a given.
