Gimhae Hanok Experience Hall

I stayed at this place a few years ago. The interior is modern and comfortable. The restaurant food wasn't all that great, but I'm not sure about that anymore. The courtyard has a lot of interior decoration, which made it a great place to take pictures. Due to limited operating hours, I couldn't go inside. It's too small to stay for long and admire. I wonder what the newly decorated garden will look like to tourists. I wasn't particularly impressed.

We had a wedding here and it was very beautiful and scenic. I loved the trees and architecture felt very authentic. There were some issues I’d like to improve. The steps to the entrance of the rooms are very cramped so it would be easy to fall off while putting your shoes on. There were some mosquitoes in the room. There were also a lot of airplanes flying above of but I guess there’s not much to change about that. Also the mats were not comfortable but that’s just the Korean traditional style so you have to get used to it. There’s a really pleasant cafe on the area you can enjoy a cup of Joe. Overall, I really enjoyed it. It’s an amazing place to take pictures and looks incredible at night.

It looks like a traditional Korean house(called Han-OK). It is recently built but realized the old decorations except the modened toilet and shower booth. You will be satisfied with it if you want to experience Koean house.

You can enjoy traditional Hanok stay with good price. I worried about cold temperatures and not convenient bathroom, it was not true. It was good. And the Hanok building itself is so beautiful you will love them.

This traditional village is worth a visit and staying overnight, you sleep on mats on the heated floor. We stayed 2 nights as a family and enjoyed our time here. Staff are friendly. As overseas visitors, we found there is little English spoken and no historical explanations. Based on this, pre-book as much as possible including the traditional breakfast which is at 8am sharp (not before or after this time). Read online for historical information.
