G3 Hotel Chungmuro

G3 Hotel felt overpriced for what it offers. The surrounding neighborhood didn’t feel particularly inviting, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was rather dull, with a bland and uninspiring interior.

The reception experience was impersonal, and the staff came across as reserved. Communication was also challenging at times, as English proficiency was limited.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were decent, but overall it felt like a very standard hotel—nothing that justifies the price point. The biggest issue, however, was the Wi-Fi not working at all, which was extremely frustrating and ultimately led me to check out two days earlier than planned.

I’m incredibly grateful to the team at G3 Hotel for their kindness and quick action on February 10. My husband suddenly suffered severe food poisoning and was vomiting and having diarrhea. It was a very frightening situation for us.

The front desk staff member on duty that night responded immediately and helped call an ambulance right away. Because of their prompt assistance, my husband received medical treatment in time.

Good hotel with amenities such as laundry, gym, paid breakfast, location is very ideal as it is located directly outside Chungmuro exit 6 and in proximity to many bus stops, making it convenient to reach popular attractions. There are a few convenience stores right beside the hotel too. Rooms are tidy and comfortable. Highly recommend for price.

I stayed at G3 Hotel Chungmuro earlier this year after it was recommended by a friend who had previously stayed here. I booked the Standard Twin Room and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the overall experience felt premium. There was ample space to open two large suitcases, and the layout made it comfortable for doing makeup in the room. There were also no unpleasant or musty smells, which I really appreciated. I also liked that there was a full-length mirror near the entryway, which was convenient for checking outfits before heading out.

The location is another strong point. It is within walking distance to Myeongdong while still being relatively peaceful, and there are subway stations nearby, making it very convenient to get around.

I only had two minor complaints. First, the room door did not have a soft-close mechanism and tended to slam shut quite loudly every time it closed, though I am not sure if this was specific to my room. Second, the gym had a strong sweat smell despite having an air purifier and dehumidifier, so I ended up not using it during my stay. The gym equipment itself looked modern and premium, and it did not feel cheap or poorly maintained.

As a small suggestion, it would be nice if air purifier or dehumidifier units were also provided in the rooms. These were minor points and did not take away from the overall experience. I would still recommend this hotel to friends and relatives and would consider staying here again.

Ticks all the boxes for location, comfort, service, and amenities! I stayed for five blissful days, with Chungmuro Station and a GS25 right at the doorstep. The hotel has everything you could need: a WOW Pass machine, laundry room, gym, exceptionally helpful staff, strong wifi and air conditioning. My room was spotless, quiet, the bed was comfortable, and every detail was thoughtfully provided. Its central location made getting to Myeongdong, Hongdae, Gangnam, and beyond effortless, with plenty of restaurants and parks nearby. I’ll definitely be staying here again! Stay in the double corner room, it’s so good!
