The room condition and service were commensurate with the hotel's class.
The location was, of course, excellent.
However, since it is April, the weather is a bit chilly, so I wish the heating were a little better.
Location: Suburbs of Seoul, about an hour's drive from the city center. I like this quiet, secluded place to stay.
Surroundings: There's a convenience store across the street, and a 5-10 minute walk to HBC Fried Chicken, an amusement park, and a small night market. Finding snacks and entertainment is no problem.
Service: The staff at the counter and restaurant were very friendly and even joked with me. When I asked for a plastic bag for breakfast, they offered to take some toast for my sleeping child and reminded me to get some jam. My son accidentally broke a plastic bowl, but they said it was okay and they would clean it up, urging him to eat quickly. When he asked for compensation, they reiterated that it was alright and to eat quickly.
Room service: We extended our stay for four nights, and they cleaned the trash and made the beds every day. They provided water on the second day, but we didn't drink that much, so they didn't provide any on the third day.
Environment: The air conditioning is adjustable, the bathroom has good water and hot water pressure, and the triple room can have two 29-inch and one 26-inch windows running simultaneously (one 20-inch window wasn't running at the same time, but it should be fine). There's a set of tables and chairs, a 1-to-4 charging cable, a voltage converter, and mosquito repellent.
After reading the reviews, I stayed for one night for two on Sunday, June 8, 2025. To put it simply, I was disappointed. Here's why:
First, when I tried to shower, there were no towels, so I called the counter and they gave me some. After I finished showering, there were no towels, so I contacted the counter and got some. I couldn't understand why they didn't seem ready for guests.
The towels were also used, as they were crumpled and unwrapped, suggesting they were used.
Second, there was no gap between the shower and the bathroom, so I had to use a towel to block the water.
Even regular motels provide this kind of service, so it's incomprehensible for a so-called three-star hotel to do so.
The hotel seems old.
Although the interior had been slightly tidied up, the overall cleanliness was terrible.
Especially the sheets—there was hair, fine dust, and even dead insects. Completely unsleepable 😟 The duvet cover was yellowed, the pillows weren't clean, and the mattress seemed old too.
The room smelled musty, and the heating vents were very dusty. The soundproofing was also poor.
Although this hotel isn't a 5-star hotel, the service from the front desk staff is 5-star.
There are convenience stores nearby, and a mini amusement park on weekends, making it a good choice.
