Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul

Stayed at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul and would highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the subway and close to Namdaemun Market, Myeongdong, and plenty of Korean restaurants that stay open late. Despite being situated on a major road, our room was surprisingly quiet, making for a comfortable stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough, with complimentary bottled water replenished daily. The bed was comfortable, and the overall standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent.

The staff were friendly, accommodating, and spoke good English. They were able to assist with both early and late check-in requests during our stay.

What stood out most was how helpful the hotel was when we took a two-day trip to Busan. We split our stay into two bookings and were able to store our large luggage at the hotel while we travelled. Upon our return, the team even accommodated our request to be placed back in the exact same room, which we greatly appreciated.

Overall, Fraser Place Namdaemun offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location for exploring Seoul. I would definitely stay here again.

I want to point out the small Onsen on the top floor. If you're into this, it's an absolutely great benefit open 6am-10pm. The men's area even has an outdoor hot tub next to the holt and cold indoor ones. Sauna and showers (standing and sitting), too.

Recently stayed at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul from 23/3-30/3 2026 and had a truly wonderful experience. This was my first trip to Seoul, and the hotel made the entire stay comfortable and stress-free from the moment we arrived.

The Front Office team was exceptionally warm, professional and always ready to help. Special thanks to Manager Jinny, as well as Vicky, Jun and Julie for their kindness, patience, and excellent service throughout our stay. They were always smiling, attentive and very helpful whenever we needed assistance with directions, transport or recommendations. Our hotel room was facing Namsan Tower, which made the experience even more memorable, especially at night.

We especially appreciated the comfortable room, the excellent location near Namdaemun and Seoul Station, and the shoals to LOTTE Mart ZETTAPLEX . The hotel was also very senior-friendly and convenient for travelling around Seoul comfortably.

The atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming, almost like returning home after a long day outside. It is one of the reasons we are already considering staying here again for our next Seoul trip.

Thank you once again to the entire Fraser Place Namdaemun team for making our holiday such a memorable one. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul.

Comfortable stay in Seoul city centre.
Stayed at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul and had a good overall experience. This is a comfortable 4-star hotel located in Seoul city centre, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and exploring nearby attractions.
The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Having a cooktop and washing machine inside the room was really helpful, especially for long stays. Everything was well arranged, and the stay experience was smooth overall.
The only area for improvement is food, as there were very limited vegetarian options available.

The hotel is fairly new and I reckon they had a refurbishment not too long ago. Location is excellent; near lots of eateries. Also walking distance to Namdaemum market with loads of small shops and popular pop up food trucks. Lotte and Shinsegae department stores are within walking distance. Buses are convenient with stops nearby.
The deluxe room is well designed and spacious. The floor is heated and the windows can be opened ajar for fresh air. Toilet is spacious too and water pressure is good.
What impress us most are the front desk staff who were extremely helpful. We were grateful to Sean and Sally who patiently answered our endless questions about where to eat and how to go. Also thanks to Estelle who helped arrange our transportation to the airport.
Overall we had an excellent 4 days stay at the hotel.

Spent 8 nights here December 2025. The hotel was well heated against the wintery cold outside. Staff were friendly and willing to help you and could understand English well. There is a spa at the top floor where you can have a bath. Central location near Town Hall station 5-10min walk away which I could access Myeongdong and other popular areas in town with ease.

Me and my wife had such a wonderful 6 days 5 nights stay at Fraser Place Namdaemun. For it’s price, the rooms were pretty big and cleanliness was good as well. Check-in was smooth and we managed to get our room a fair bit earlier than check in time which was great for us considering how cold the weather was in January. Will highly recommend this hotel due to both it’s good location and rooms.
