Donkey Hotel in Anyang

I'm not sure about weekends, but weekdays are good value for money.

I booked a three-day stay through Expedia.

Of course, there was no condition requiring me to check out in the middle of the day and spend eight hours outside.

However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that to accommodate daytime guests, I had to stay outside from 12 PM to 8 PM on weekends and public holidays.

They claimed that Expedia is linked separately from the online booking system the hotel is affiliated with, so the hotel was completely unaware of the situation.

I spent the drizzling daytime hours outside for two days, and on the last day, I protested.

They told me to pay an additional 20,000 won to stay in the hotel during the day. ... Claiming that the Expedia booking conditions were set that way, they tried to frame me as a scoundrel, asking why I was making an issue of it when everyone else pays. When I asked where such a condition existed, they cited a clause stating that the hotel may charge an additional fee at its discretion for occupancy of two or more people. I had no idea how they interpreted English. ...

When I told them this was a form of fraud, they told me to vacate the room immediately and branded me as a strange person.

During my last night's stay, I felt threatened, fearing that gangsters might be mobilized to open the door with a master key and commit a crime.

I was contacted by Expedia and explained the situation, and as a Korean expatriate traveling in Korea, I had the worst hotel experience.

Location, price, friendliness, and the best. The rooms are also well-maintained and clean.

It's very cost-effective, close to the station, and you can relax while watching Netflix. There's also an electric blanket.

This seems to be the best place in Anyang 1st Street. It's conveniently located, the rooms are clean, and it's a good value for the price.
