Had a wonderful experience here. Mimi was a great host a prepared a wonderful breakfast and taught my wife and I how to play the Korean harp (gayageum) which was a rare find and really neat! Thanks for allowing us to experience a Hanok village firsthand.

Just a few kilometers from the center of Seoul, this hotel is nestled in a peaceful haven, yet easily accessible by bus and close to restaurants and shops. Located in a Hanok neighborhood and a short walk from Bukhansan Park, our stay was simply perfect! Mimi's Hanok, our host, is magnificent. The view from the room is just incredible! Mimi went above and beyond to ensure our comfort while remaining very discreet: plenty of toiletries, an excellent homemade breakfast, and even a photo session with a demonstration of a traditional Korean musical instrument. Thank you again, Mimi, it was simply magical! :)

One of our bucket list this Korea trip was to experience a Hanok house stay. The village is situated in Seoul, accessible by public transportation. When we arrived, we were blown away by the architecture of the house, we chose this also because they offer traditional sleeping mattress and pillow for full traditional experience, the house is well insulated with modern amenities. The best part about this hanok stay is our very kind and welcoming host Mimi, she made sure that we had a pleasant stay, the next day she made us a very delicious breakfast, her very own seaweed chia seed soup is very delicious. Afterwards she showed us a traditional Korean string musical instrument which many locals have not seen due to its rarity. We got a chance to play with it. you can also do it while wearing hanbok. We had a very memorable stay in the Healing Hanok of Chaehyodang. This is one of the highlights of our first trip in Korea.
