Central Bay Hotel

A great place to stay in the Gwangalli area, right in front of the beach. I highly recommend booking a room with a direct beach view, especially on weekends, so you can enjoy the Saturday drone show. Make sure to book in advance to secure the best room 😊 The location is excellent, with many restaurants and cafés nearby.

The room is cozy and clean, although amenities are somewhat limited. Netflix is not available, but if you use a Samsung phone, you can mirror your screen to watch shows on the TV. You may also need to request a new remote control from the reception.

Really impressive views inside the room is the only perk.

Stingy and cost cutting hotel. Didn’t realize there’s no water dispenser when most places of the same price provide common services like refill of water, laundry, gym, or something for amenities.

Also confusing and inconsistent when they give you floor towels… and one tiny face towel. The towels are old and frayed. How will you shower?

No one came out to help you with luggage when you’re faced with the steps in front of their hotel.

There’s also a weird alarm beep sound that’s very scary on the air filter or ac machine.

No mosquito net on the window which is so easy and common to do.

This place is more spacious than most but the weekend meant we paid nearly 190,000 when it seems they’re usually priced around 100,000 or so.

I really appreciate that the room is spacious but they use a double bed instead of a queen size so it was a squeeze for me and my spouse.

Bathroom is spacious too but it would be better if the glass doors of the shower and toilet is frosted to allow for privacy so that the other person could still use the sink or bath tub.

The fan speed of the air con was too strong and there is not control button to make the blade stay up so that the powerful cold air does not blow down on us all the time.

The view is the main selling point, the night view is so beautiful!

The location of this hotel is perfect right on Gwangalli beach and has an incredible view of the bridge. The rooms were also super big compared to the other hotels we stayed in Korea which was really nice. The thing that docks this stay is the service of the front desk. My friend requested both another pillow and an extra towel which were denied which was not really acceptable seeing as the price and type of accommodation. Overall did enjoy my stay though- the view made up for it.

Great location with a beautiful view but disappointing room and service. Told front desk the AC did not work on the first day but was told it was working and just needed a few hours to work properly. Could not sleep the first night as a result. Shower water pressure was weak and no soap, shampoo, etc. was provided. Overall a disappointing stay.
