To put it bluntly, I strongly recommend against staying here. I originally planned to stay for 4 nights and 5 days, but ended up getting a refund and checking out after just one night.
1. Extremely Outdated Facilities
As you can see in the photos, the sink was cracked, and the walls were full of dents and scuffs. Even if they can't upgrade outdated facilities overnight, the room was so incredibly dirty that it felt gross to stay there and completely ruined my mood. I will elaborate on the cleanliness issues below.
There were three power outlets in the room, but two of them didn't work at all. The air conditioner wasn't working either. The bathroom had a large bathtub, but the faucet was so loose and unstable it felt like it would fall apart if you barely touched it.
2. Lack of Cleanliness
The areas under the table and inside the drawers were completely neglected and uncleaned. There were visible piles of dust in the corners of the room. I noticed the next morning that there were actually quite a few guests staying here, which makes me wonder even more why the cleaning is so poorly managed.
3. Rude Staff Attitude
When I first entered the room, water only came out of the lower faucet and not the showerhead. Thinking it was broken, I called the front desk to inquire. The staff member completely dismissed my concern, saying things like, "We already verified there were no issues with the room before check-in," "What do you want me to do about it?" and "Are you telling me to come up to your room?" If a guest reports an issue with their room, isn't it common sense for staff to come up and check?
I insisted they come up, and they did eventually fix the showerhead issue. However, because the room was so dirty and the facilities were in such terrible shape, I requested either a room change or a refund. I was told, "Refunds are impossible."
Yet, when I asked a different staff member the next morning, I was told that a refund was possible. If I had been given the correct information from the start, I wouldn't have wasted My time at this hotel...
4. Price
My itinerary consisted of one night in a Deluxe Room and the rest in a Standard Room. The Deluxe Room cost 150,000 KRW for a weekend night. Honestly, for this price, I earnestly beg you to spend a little extra money and go to a proper hotel. Even considering it was the weekend, this place is nowhere near worth that price. ^^;;
It was a chaotic and eventful stay, even if it was just for one night... Please, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
In conclusion, I really cannot recommend it. Originally, I had planned a 4-night, 5-day stay, but I checked out after only one night and received a refund.
1. The facilities are extremely dilapidated
As you can see from the photos, the sink was cracked, and there were many scratches and dents on the hotel walls. Even if the age of the facilities cannot be immediately improved, the cleanliness of the room was extremely poor, to the point of being unpleasant and upsetting for a traveler. I will discuss the cleanliness further below.
The room had three electrical outlets, but two of them weren't working. The air conditioner also didn't work. The bathroom had a large bathtub, but the faucet was so old and worn that it looked like it would fall off with just a slight touch.
2. Unsanitary
The area under the table and inside the drawers hadn't been cleaned, and dust had accumulated in the corners of the room. I checked in the morning and it seemed there had been a fair number of guests, so I was very puzzled as to why the cleaning was so inadequate.
3. Unhelpful Staff Response
When I entered the room, water came out of the sink faucet but not from the shower stall, so I called the front desk thinking it was broken.
At that time, the staff responded with comments such as:
"We confirmed there were no problems before check-in,"
"What do you want me to do?",
"Do you want me to come to your room?"
They didn't address my inquiry at all.
Isn't it standard practice to come and check when you receive a report of a problem with a room?
After I asked them to come, they did resolve the showerhead issue. However, the room's cleanliness and the dilapidated facilities were so terrible that I requested a room change or a refund, but I was told that a refund was not possible.
However, the next day, when I checked again with a different staff member, I was informed that a refund was possible.
If I had been given the correct information from the beginning, I wouldn't have wasted my time at this hotel.
4. Price
I had booked a deluxe room for the first night and standard rooms for the remaining nights, but the deluxe room cost 15,000 yen due to the weekend rate.
Honestly, if you're going to pay that much, I strongly recommend staying at a more decent hotel, even if it means paying a little extra. Even considering the weekend rate, I don't think this price is justified for what you get.
Although it was only one night, it was a very tiring stay in many ways.
I truly recommend choosing a different hotel.
Small and smell bad of the room also have mosquito.show different room get different room
The receptionist girl rude and not helpfull.
Location abit far from myeondong
This hotel is nice enough for me. The location is nice and only 5 mins walk to Seoul Metro Bulgang station. Room is not big enough but comfortable, there’s also bathtubs with nice smells of soap and shampoo. I was staying in 15 floors and it’s quiet ~ you can also enjoy Netflix and unlimited YouTube ✨🩷
They clean my room everyday and I’m happy with it 😍
My wife Booked this hotel thinking it was a great deal, and it would have been if the rooms were cleaned and maintained properly.
Dust on the lighting, mold everywhere, sink was clogged, And we both got sick before we left.
It was so bad she decided to clean up the bathroom herself.
we asked for new towels multiple times and they either didn't show up or told us they were out. tub had no curtains and wasn't against the wall so water splashed everywhere when we showered. one of the few times the cleaner did arrive, they threw away my toothbrush!
the only reason we didn't leave was because we didn't want to brave the December cold and find a new place hoping it was cleaner.
