Baiton Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel

Great location walking distance to Cheongyecheon and Gwangjang Market. Room was nice and surroundings quiet. Service could have been more friendly. Breakfast was a good spread.

We stayed at Baiton Hotel Dongdaemon from 21st to 27th April 2026. The hotel was clean, pleasant, and well-located, and overall the experience was great, except for one incident that I can't seem to forget.

On 22nd April, we visited Alpaca World Korea and bought a medium-sized brown Alpaca stuffed toy. My son slept with it that night on his inflatable bed. The next morning, April 23, we were scheduled to visit Everland, so I deliberately decided not to bring the toy and left it on his bed where he slept that night. When we returned, the room was tidy; the bed was made, but the brown Alpaca stuffed toy was missing. We searched everywhere that night- under the bed, in the toilets, and through our bags and luggage- but it was gone. We then decided to call the front desk. The staff immediately came to our room, and we explained that the cleaners might have accidentally taken it with the towels and sheets. Since I know this often happens, and we weren't accusing anyone of theft, we only asked if he could check or call the cleaners to see if it was in the bins. What surprised me was that he responded without even trying, saying, "impossible and sorry" "we do not touch your things" as if he didn't want to be inconvenienced by the incident. Yes, it's just a toy, but he could have at least tried to contact someone because this toy holds a great memory for my son, especially of that wonderful day at Alpaca World. The following day, we asked our tour guide to explain the situation to the manager properly, as we thought there might have been a misunderstanding due to the language barrier. However, at that moment, the staff dismissed any possibility of finding the toy saying it was impossible they had taken it. I'm not expecting five-star service from this hotel, but I did expect at least some effort. Based on this incident, I find it difficult to say I fully enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Booked a hotel room, but when I got there the staff and the receptionist said " You're not booked here".Definitely some scammers. And the staff started quarreling with me that I need to book another room AGAIN, I'm so disgusted by this behavior to customers, so I'm gonna rate 1/10 customer service, also the management doesn't speak English even though there are a lot of tourists. Not to mention, the hotel rooms are disgusting and the service is really bad in here, so if you're finding a place to stay temporarily, this is not it.

The rooms were small but just enough since you are out most of the time. The bathroom is a bit on the small like a little too small. But the room as a whole was very clean and very comfortable. The food for breakfast was very good. It was a mix of a little western and Korea's popular food like kimchi and sausages. The drinks were very good except for the coffee. The location was very good, it was quiet and doesnt have a lot of people around. The hotel also has a convenience store like right beside it. And there's malls that are walking distance from the hotel. Overall, the hotel is very good, since its a little out of the city but walking distance to one of the main cities. The food was very good and the rooms were small but very comfortable.

Avoid this Hotel at all costs my belt bag lost inside my hotel while we were sleeping.your safety is not guaranteed there.piece of advice from a first hand experience whenever you avail tour package from travel agencies in the Philippines be careful on the accommodation hotel they offer.mine was Airmark Tour and Dev't Inc but in fairness to Airmark tour and dev't inc. they have outstanding tour guides and supeb iteneraries
