Aiden by Best Western Cheongdam

Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast at reasonable price. In-room wifi, however, is patchy and not reliable. To be fair, I did not call for technical assistance. Beds and room are clean. In-room coffee machine available. Excellent drip coffee also provided. Overall a pretty nice hotel.

Customer experience is everything. I have been to countless hotel that lets you check in early without a charge. And then there is Aiden. I was 1.5 hour ahead of their 3pm check in time and I was told it would cost extra. The room is dated and has a funky smell. Front Desk not very friendly..

I wasn’t expecting much before I saw my room because I read some not so good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything is sparkling clean, bed is comfortable and the sheets are very good quality. Pillows are just right and indeed you need to buy a toothbrush and toothpaste. I had a view to the street and a nice working desk from where I could look out the window. The hotel is in a very good location, close to everything. I enjoyed my stay.

The front desk guys are very polite and nice. However the house keeping lady was grumpy and always did not provide the basic towel and toilet paper.
First day there is only 2 big towels provided, Second day tissue case has empty.
On 3rd day, coffee and shower gown was not in place.
4th day, they did not change bed sheet at all until then- they always put the used toilet paper not new one - feel so bad and I could hear house keeping ladies complaining regarding to me-they said “They didn’t want cleaning in the morning and now changed their mind - they’re so weird.”
As a guest, I have never experienced like this.
We found out they never changed the bed sheet for 5 days and keep murmured in front of us.

The location is top notch and room structure is practical. Chris Jang has helped us in many way - Appreciate it..
All front desk guys are very friendly and try to help the guest, but except them, house keeping ladies and maintenance guys are very rude and they think I can’t understand Korean and they did back talking in front of guest.

It is super convenient to use Bus or Subway and it is close to the famous restaurant.

Rooms were a good size. Not the cleanest, found nail clipping on the bathroom counter. Service during check in and check out was good. Location is not bad, walking distance to train stations.

Overall it was a pretty good experience in the hotel. The employees at the reception were friendly and tried to help us as fast as possible. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable! The only thing that you should notice is the traffic noise. So you should. bring earphones etc. with you.
