UWA Guesthouse

UWA felt like home from the very first moment. The location is lively, with countless cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores like GS25 and 7-Eleven around, and public transport is just a short walk away. My favorite part was the vinyl set in the lobby...such a hidden gem. I was so happy to meet Barbara there, and we spent a memorable nights listening to albums and having a wonderful conversation. If you take a closer look, you can find treasures like Billy Joel, The Police, Eagles, and Rod Stewart. The people staying and working here were truly amazing. I even wanted to cancel some of my other plans to extend my stay at UWA, but unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked. I will definitely come back one day.

Great guesthouse near Hongdae, the location is amazing (just a couple blocks from hongkiv university station).
The staff is friendly and allowed me to early check in there.
It has a cozy vibe and everyone in there is friendly.
I would go back to this guest house without a doubt.

Pros
+ 5-6 minutes walk to Hongik uni station 3 exit.
+ Neighbourhood (hongdae) is young and hip
+ Beds and blankets are very very comfortable
+ Full kitchen and lounge area
+ Bidet in the toilets
+ Could easily contact the managers
+ Taxi to airport cost me 48k won. if you are 2 or more people get the taxi from this place. Airport limo costs around 18k won each

Cons
- Some places were disorganised; things just lying on countertops, washroom, shoe racks etc.
- Cleaning can be improved. There's a lot of dust lying under my bed
- The shower facilities can be improved

Best guesthouse in Seoul! Very comfortable accommodation, clean and safe for a woman solo traveler, perfect location to get to the Airport and well connected to visit the rest of the city. I found it thanks to a friend recommendation and I recommend it as well. Perfect if you like a simple, quiet and affordable stay in Seoul! So nice to see all these memories from other travelers (see picture :)

Very good location. Close to the subway and many restaurants around. The quality of the hostel is ok. I means, for European standards it is very clean and quiet. But I would say it is average. If you need a bit of money saving. Go there. I slept good and never felt uncomfortable
