很多伴手礼跟水果可买,如果要买衣服鞋子就直冲七星街,买伴手礼跟小吃就往市场跟地下街。

The owner didn't speak English and kind of didn't interact with me once she noticed I spoke English? It was kind of disappointing. I had to also help her find me on the guest list. She kept saying I was in the 8 female room when I booked 4 female room. Then she put me in the male room in the computer system for some reason. So that part was the sour bit of my experience checking into the first hostel in Jeju (my first Jeju trip ever also not to mention). So I think that part really disappointed me with the type of hospitality they portrayed.

Other than that the place wasn't really clean. Barely kept up? Thankfully, I was the only one in the room so I had no complaints about noises but yeah, just warm welcome could've changed my experience!

Just saying!

I only spent one night at the Miso Guesthouse, but I left with at least 20 mosquito bites. Other than that the hostel is okay for a short stay and the owner is friendly. She manages everything with a translation app since she doesn't speak any English. Towels and a water dispensor are provided.

Location was easy to find. The staff was really friendly. There was an English speaking staff so that was quite helpful to me. The bed, room, bathroom was clean. The pub downstairs is very fun and so is the bartender. It was a last minute booking because my flight canceled due to bad weather and couldn’t travel anywhere much in Jeju. But staying here was the only best day for me South Korea! Keep up the good work!

Had one of the worst experiences at this Airbnb. The kid in charge is one of the worst people you will ever meet. I get the cheap price but that doesn't give him the right to not be a decent human being especially if you work in hospitality. I get he has a strictly business mentality but to get confronted to the point of getting physical because he is not honoring Airbnb and “stubbornly” demands cash from you is another thing. Also make sure you don't let him take your passport photo. I only let him take my health card. I think the kid has anger issues and I had video of him going psycho over having food items in the common area which has a stove and fridge there but apparently, food is not allowed there. He also lost it when shoes got on the floors. It's crazy how things like this causes him to swear at you and later attack you from his temper tantrum. To add, the living conditions here involve 30+ mosquito bites a night, rusty door handles, and super uncomfortable beds. Also came back to my storage lockers being opened by someone on first day.

The prices here are fantastic. There’s no denying that. But you get what you pay for, and even with such a low price, I would never stay here again.

Staying here in November, the thermostats were set to 25 degrees (77 for my fellow Americans. This might not seem too horrible, but when you factor in Jeju humidity and a top bunk, it was so uncomfortably hot. Forget about a blanket, you’ll want to take off as much clothing as possible while trying to maintain decency.

Unfortunately, taking off a shirt or wearing shorts opens you up to another problem: mosquitoes. I wondered what all the red stains on the walls and ceiling were at first, but after I killed two mosquitoes and had countless more get way, I figured it out. Between the heat and the mosquitoes, I felt like I was sleeping outside in a jungle. Worst sleep I’ve had in a hostel (without someone in the room snoring as loud as a jet engine)

Other negatives include the beds feeling rather small and of course being Korean style in terms of hardness. Also, although this place calls itself as a hostel, but the English spoken here is minimal at best. If you don’t speak much Korean, expect awkward conversations with very little information being relayed to you. If you’re Korean these things might not bother you, so bear that in mind.

I hate giving it so few stars, considering the shockingly low price and the overall cleanliness and modernness of the facility, but I had a horrible night here. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. If you’re a broke backpacker where money is the primary criteria, this is about as cheap as it gets and you get a lot of bang for your buck here. But if a good nights sleep is important to you, look elsewhere
