Oneminute guesthouse

The room is so small, it feels like a jail cell. It’s humid and dark and there’s no actual shower in the room, there’s a “shower hose” attached to the sink- showering is an adventure as you have to remove the toilet paper and the waste basket so they don’t get wet . You also need to shower close to the sink to not make a giant mess.

Also, the hair dryer started smoking while I was using it and making weird noises.

The good thing about is that it’s very close to a subway station.

I arrived in the afternoon and tried to check in via self-service, but my room key wouldn't swipe. There was no one at the counter at the time. I reported the issue through Agoda, but it wasn't resolved. My Korean friend also called the landlord, but no one answered. They finally resolved the problem the following afternoon. It was a terrible experience...

High value for budget travelers. Location is perfect, 100 meters from exit 4 of Jonggak station, 200 meters from airport bus stop and in middle of Jongro food street. Auto check-in and check-out, contact with staff through email. Free water and coffee in the lobby. Washing machine, dryer and luggage storage available. Everything is convenient and comfortable during my stay.

Pros:

✔️Neat neighborhood with convenience stores/restaurants/Cheonggye River
✔️Stable water temperature and large flow
✔️Wireless charging and extension cords provided in the room
✔️Disposable toiletries including toothbrush and soap provided.

Cons:
✖️No bottled water provided (but there is a water dispenser)
✖️No refrigerator in the room (provided in common areas)

Large double room, can accommodate 25-inch + 28-inch suitcases fully open. Room has air conditioning/heating. Bathroom is small, but the price is very affordable. Close to Myeongdong, within walking distance.

It was an okay place, however I would not come again.
In the 10 days, my room was not cleaned once, I did not receive fresh towels, nor was my trash cans emptied.
Staff is fairly nice and helpful.
Option to use laundry facilities is great.
Fridge and microwave available.
