okidoki house

It is my 3rd visit staying here. I come see friends, I go to specific events, I love their lounge where I can sit and write about my time. The room is warm and comfortable. After sleeping well I get coffee from their adjoining cafe. Then I am off again. Just what this student/writer needs.

Self serving. Convenient. Within 7-10 minutes from the subway stations. Buses are close by too. Self serving coffee shop. For planners this place ticks many boxes. Confidently consistent.

We were 3 people and stayed for 4 nights at okidoki house. It was a great stay! ⭐️

The room was a little crowded with 3 people but I‘d say that‘s normal. The toilet and shower were seperate which was very convenient. The room had floor heating which was very nice (we travelled in winter). The beds were comfy.

Check-in and check-out were very easy. In the entrance area there was a laundry machine and dryer which were free to use! There was also a water dispenser for cold and hot water. 🧃

The location was very good. There‘s a bus stop directly across the stay and a 7/11 just around the corner. The stay is also close to Hongdae.

Perfect for a solo stay as I did. Simple rooms, but clean. Very safe.

I don't know why it is called okidoki "cafe" as there is only a coffee vending machine (huge one!) but it doesn't really matter because there are so many eateries in the area where you get a succulent Korean meal!

2 subway stations in the area takes about 20-30 minutes to Itaewong. There is an airport bus stop close by as well.

It's mostly self service in Okidoki house but if you need help you can easily contact them via multiple channels including WhatsApp.

Free laundry service as well.
Air purifier in the room available!
Small fridge also in the room very convenient!
24hr 7/11 direct across the building.

Use Naver Maps instead of Google Maps as Google Maps doesn't work so well in South Korea. Naver maps has Okidoki House & cafe in English guidance.

It deserves it. Consideration of creature comforts. The best. If all you need is a quiet, clean and conveniently located place, it is perfect for that. It's where I'll stay now when I get to visit. The staff are accommodating and helpful but the self-serve part is good if you have to leave later or earlier in the day.
