Lian Guesthouse

Best hostel in Seoul. Nary is the best. Will help you with ideas of where to go and help you with directions. Her breakfast she cooks every morning is great. The place has a good atmosphere and great place to meet people. Great location right near train station but also walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars in hangdae. Place has 3 toilets and 3 showers which is great also.

What an amazing guesthouse! Nary is such a sweet and amazing owner! I truly felt at home here. So many hostels the atmosphere depends on other guests but at Lian, Nary herself makes the atmosphere so great.

During my trip to Korea I stayed at Lian Guesthouse and I immediately felt welcome when I met Nary. She is such a wonderful host and person. Not only did 'n have a great stay there, but she helped me with planning my trip through Korea and advising me on things to do, which busses to take etc. The guesthouse is a wonderful place to meet fellow travellers. Nary goes out of her way to make everyone comfortable and even arranges for us all to go have dinner together some nights. I would definitely stay there again if I go to Seoul. Thanks Nary :)

It was my first guesthouse experience and I was so lucky to be in such a beautiful place. Nary, the host is so kind and it feel like she take care of all of us like a mom. She never hesitate to show us around and bring all the solo travelers (and the non solo travelers xD) to some restaurents and teach us about the Korean foods. The others guests are all so friendly and the breakfast is homemade !

I'll book 200% here again.

This is hands down the best hostel I've been to in my trip through Asia!
Nari, the host, is a really charming person. It is easy connect with other tennants in the common space or over the (amazing!) breakfast.
The location is top notch, right in the fringes of hongdae, where you can find clubs, bars and restaurants. It is also close to a central metro line, and the train to the airport.
