Kozayo Hostel

地理位置很好，就在弘大闹区但很安静，而且旁边就有三层楼olive young！房间比我想像中更宽敞一些，床枕头棉被都很舒服。缺点是浴室头发没清理时会淹水，厕所很小会顶到墙壁。虽然是胶囊但房间很安静，不用怕会很吵！

Great location, surprisingly not noisy at all considering the location of it.
The hot water is kinda hard to control sometimes, I got burnt once in the shower.
But afterall really great place.
The bed is the best! Soooo comfortable and electronic too, what a surprise!

I found this hostel clean and friendly. I did not find it too niosey considering its location. The sleeping area was clean, nice duvet and pillow, towel and slippers provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash (in showers) and hand soap. Hairdryer in shower room. Cafe very nice, where you can get your free breakfast and also do laundry, or just relax and have a drink in the evening. It is a close walk to many attractions, buses and the subway.

员工友善，价格也很合理。

酒店提供早餐，包括面包、麦片、鸡蛋、果汁和牛奶。

楼下的咖啡厅提供10%的折扣。

因为一位客人即使设了闹钟也没醒，我不得不早起，不过酒店提供的耳塞解决了这个问题。

躺椅床睡起来非常舒服。

下次出差我还会选择入住这里。

Every thing is perfect besides the restrooms- way too small for a person with an average weight …厕所小到快要进不去…

KOZAYO Hostel:-

I had an excellent stay at this solo traveler-friendly hostel in Seoul! It’s situated in a lively, 24-hour area, which means you're always close to action, but it's also conveniently located just 8 minutes on foot from Hongik University Station. This station also offers direct subway access to Incheon Airport, making it super easy for me.

The hostel is in close proximity to the vibrant Hongdae shopping district (just a 2-minute walk), so you’ll never run out of things to do or places to explore or to eat. While the area is bustling, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-soundproofed the hostel is. I didn’t hear any noise at all during my stay, making it a peaceful retreat despite the lively surroundings.

The staff here were amazing—extremely friendly and fluent in English, which made communication a breeze. A small caveat: the elevator only reaches the third floor (where the rooms are), and since the reception is on the second floor, you’ll need to carry your bags/luggage up one flight. However, the staff is very accommodating, he offered to help me carry my luggage up to the second floor when I arrived and when I checked out, so this wasn’t much of an issue for me. I also really appreciated the peaceful environment, during the stay my roommates were considerate, and I didn’t experience any noise disturbances. As for the towels provided, they are free but smaller than I expected—I'd suggest bringing your own towel.

Overall, I’d rate this hostel a solid 9/10. It’s a perfect spot for solo travelers, and I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Seoul in the future!

This is a GREAT choice if you’re looking for a hostel/pod hotel in Hongdae.

Pros:

Super comfortable beds (better than hotels I was paying 3x for in other parts of the country)

Location is perfect, you’re right in the middle of everything

Customer service is very good. Hyunwoo was especially helpful and friendly

Laundry on site (unlike other hostel or coin laundries they did the laundry for me for 10,000 won

Cons:

Probably already going to be booked on the weekend, so get it in advance

Not a very social/party hostel - so know what you’re looking for. More pod hotel style

Can hear noise at night (low rumblings of the bass from the clubs down the street) but I was still able to easily sleep and they give you earplugs

NO LOCKERS
Was able to keep my laptop with the front desk, but it’s a huge oversight that should be corrected. They do have solid access control and a lot of cctvs

This accommodation is a capsule style modern separate room hostel. The staffs are really friendly and helpful, the interiors are very comfortable and clean. It would be much more helpful if there are more pictures and descriptions on their booking sites/platform, but I guess I was in luck to discover this gem!
