JongnoStay

I stayed at this hostel for one week during my trip to Seoul, and it was my very first experience in a hostel. I couldn’t have asked for a better one. The person at the reception was incredibly kind, helpful and caring. He was always available, welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning.
The facilities seemed also very new: extremely clean, very practical and I felt safe at all times.

Thanks to this experience, I would absolutely recommend this hostel, especially for a first hostel stay. I truly appreciated the atmosphere and the level of care provided.

Super Annoying you can only pay in cash upfront.

Arrived having travelled across the country and had to walk an hour to find cashpoints which was exhausting after a long day to be honest.

Not as much storage as other hostels by your bed. Feels less cosy. No bathroom in the bedrooms which is helpful for females in the night.

Clean and functional. Good location.

JongnoStay is fantastic for travellers who want to visit Seoul, Korea. I highly recommend it. OG was a fantastic host and took us out for Korean BBQ. You have to stay here if you're coming to Seoul.

One of my favorite hostels while traveling. I love the codes to get in so you don’t need to worry about carrying a key. It’s really clean and modern. OG is awesome- he is responsive on WhatsApp and is friendly, kind and helpful.

Shower pressure is amazing. Great wifi. Amazing blackout curtains around the beds. The temperature was perfect, not too hot or cold and even though the dorm is in the basement it never felt stuffy. The beds are a little narrow but otherwise truly no complaints.

Has a cozy common area equipped with a fridge, microwaves and toaster, cold and hot water dispenser, plus free coffee and tea.

There’s a convenience store nearby and the more I explored the more I loved the neighborhood and its surrounding areas. There are buses near the hostel that can take you anywhere you want to go.

For some reason there’s only female dorms so guys have to get a private room. This place ended up feeling like home and I kept extending my stay. Met lots of wonderful people here.

decent downstairs hostel (no windows), clean and cute, met some fun solo travelers. The rooms are way way too hot and the bunks are too high. But the receptionist was extremely rude - they wouldn’t hold my safe keeping in storage kept telling me to store it in the subway?!, didn’t even allow me to hang out at the hostel after check out, forced me out immediately. It was bit of a hostile environment. Would only recommend for cleanliness but staff are not cool at all.
