Hoppin House Seoul

Loved my stay at Hoppin House!! Had everything you need for working remotely and community to explore with!

Even had multiple places to work from, monitors and laptop stands for you to use, and strong wifi for video calls.

The location is great. You can walk to everything you need and so much more. Plus close by the metro and bus stations to get anywhere else you want to go.

Highly recommend staying at Hoppin if you’re coming to explore Seoul!

I had a wonderful 5 week stay at Hoppin House.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the common areas in the kitchen are great to chat with other guests, cook a good meal or work on your laptop.

The location is great. It's a short walk from the metro and there are many nice restaurants and cafes a short walk away. It's up a hill so it's a workout but a good chance to burn the calories from delicious Korean food 🤣

Jeong and Dogukan, the community managers, are very kind and helpful. They took very good care of us and planned nice events.
I made many wonderful friends and memories from my time here at Hoppin.

Just finished my run with Hoppin House, and it was an amazing experience. Dogukan and Jeong were fantastic managers — both incredibly helpful, welcoming, and supportive throughout the entire stay. They made everything easy and created a great atmosphere from day one. There was a really good balance of organised activities and free time, which made it easy to explore, relax, and connect with everyone. The accommodation was great, the location was excellent, and overall it was a memorable experience I’d definitely recommend.

Finding Hoppin House was pure luck, and honestly, I’m really grateful for it.

It’s not just a hostel—very quickly, it starts to feel like home. The people you meet here become more than just roommates. You end up sharing so many memorable days, conversations, and small moments that stick with you.

The house itself is very spacious, with few areas where you can comfortably work. As a digital nomad, that mattered a lot to me. I also had private room which have dedicated desks if you need quiet and focus during the day.
Even tho bathrooms are shared, and I’m someone who values comfort—but this was never an issue. They’re always clean, available, and the water pressure is great (which actually matters more than people think).

The neighborhood is a big win. You’re right next to Hongdae, so within minutes you’re surrounded by cafes, shops, and that energetic Korean vibe. But at the same time, the house is tucked into a quiet residential area, which gives you the best of both worlds.

What really makes this place special is the people behind it. Jeong has created something more than just accommodation— building a community. There’s a strong focus on connection and networking, and you naturally meet like-minded people, build real friendships, and have great conversations. And Dogukan is incredibly supportive throughout the whole experience—from before you even arrive, during your stay and after. Thank you!

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Hoppin House. It’s the kind of place where you come for a short stay and end up wanting to stay much longer.

My stay at Hoppin was great. Shared spaces are always clean, refurnished, and the community made me feel welcome from the very start. It’s a great place for digital nomads but if you are a solo traveler, you can constantly meet new people and don’t have to explore Seoul/Korea alone. The co-working space is perfect to either peacefully work or have a friendly chat. The area surrounding Hoppin is busy (all transport is 5/10 min away) but the street on which the house is located is very quiet and residential. Definitely recommend for longer stays as well.
