Manager/owner very helpful, IF you show respect. The people leaving bad reviews were clearly disrespectful. It is a hostel, it is not the Hilton. Some people have unrealistic expectations. I agree with another user that the shower could have a plastic curtain fitted so the water doesn't splash onto the toilet. But, don't let that put you off, it's a great little place and very very close to the main strip. Re people complaining about cigarette smoke, IT is NON SMOKING. Nobody smoked. If you don't like cigarettes don't visit Itaewon.

The host is really nice if you let him know in advance you are going to arrive late, need luggage storage before check in time. The places is clean and nice, also is close enough to the itaewon night places to go walking just like one block away but far enough to not be anoy by the sounds.

Stayed here for a night.

Very affordable clean dorm right next to the party district in Itaewon and the station but also far enough where you can sleep peacefully.

Not sure what are these people talking about. The owner was actually a very nice person. People seriously need to be a lot more empathetic since English is not his first language and obviously the mannerisms of Koreans differ from that of other people.

Also there is no curfew. You do need to check in before 11 PM but you can come in and go whenever you please since the passcode for the lock on the door is given.

Just lots of negative reviews unnecessarily given to this guesthouse from people who have way too much of an expectations for such a cheap stay in an excellent location

Hostel owner is not nice !!! The rooms are very, very small! The toilet and shower outside the room. From the first moment I arrived the hostel owner was very, very unpleasant, he did not stop commenting on everything and gave me an unpleasant feeling - even though I was very polite. I've been to dozens of hostels around the world this is where I came out with the worst experience. When I asked to leave the bags a little after the checkout I had to beg for him to agree, and that too was very nice. I don't recommend staying here.

The location is really nice for solo travellers or small groups of people: convenient to travel around the city since Itaewon Station is very near, and I really liked the neighbourhood, both day and night.
However, the owner or the person taking care of the welcoming is the contrary of nice. Not the best part of the trip to talk with him.
