The building itself isn't new on the outside or inside, and it's a bit dated.
Still, the flooring and interior have been remodeled, so it's quite clean. As of February 22, 2020, the heating is well-regulated, and with the ondol (Korean floor heating system), you'll stay warm. The refrigerator is large, making it perfect for year-end or weekend parties with friends.
However, the dishes and pots are insufficient. There's only one pot, one frying pan, one pot, and about 10 plates, so it's better to order in than to cook.
It is quiet and cozy.
Gethouse - three separate bedrooms, a shared living room with a kitchen and bathroom, clean, with regular weekly linen and towel changes, and a very friendly and helpful host. Having never stayed in this type of accommodation, it was a bit surprising that the owner would drop by in the morning to make himself coffee or breakfast, as if it were his apartment. When he had guests, he'd stay in the basement. Perhaps that's the culture and customs in Korea. The total price was around 3 million won for 16 nights, so you'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth it.
Cozy and simple. Owner has a very cute cat named Yuki (important to know for people with allergies!)
Owner is around quite a bit, and is very helpful.
