Union Hotel

It’s okay. Far away from city center, or all the tourist hot area, but if you don’t mind take the subway to commuter, it does have values, right next to line 9 Seyongdo station. Plenty Restaurants, shops.

The room size is comfortable, you have all the necessary, nothing frill, but meet the expectations.

The bed is on the hard side, the housekeeper team can be slow and lazy tho.

The hotel was modern, clean, and had polite staff who could speak Korean and English.

❤️ On-site laundry with credit card payment. Only one washer and dryer, but it had a large capacity.

❤️ Excellent location near subway and bus stop. Lots of cafe, restaurant, and convenience stores nearby.

❤️ Excellent gym! Very large with lots of different machines.

👎 The mini-splits need to be maintained and cleaned better. Our room had black mildew on our unit, which is unhealthy. It also made a very annoying clicking and rattling sound.

👎 Rooms need better maintenance. The shower was missing a door, and the caulk was peeling by the shower, which caused water to leak by the toilet.

Location is great and close to the elevator of line #9 (Gimpo airport), as well as Costco in 20 mins by walk. The bakery in 1st floor is really nice and you can get discount (50% off in coffee 10% off in others). Offers pajamas at 14 floor front desk and refills the drinking water in Gym at 2nd floor.

The three male staff members at the 14th floor reception are extremely kind and helpful, but I found the female staff working during the day are very unfriendly.

There’s mildew/mold on the air conditioner vents in both the hallway and the room- they were quick to fix it when I notified them but it would be nice if they were maintained. Also it’s a bit disappointing that the hotel charges for towels.

Otherwise, good location, housekeepers were nice. Got washer and dryer + laundry detergent/dryer sheet that accepts card but there’s only one available each so I suggest you use it in early morning.

The beds are hard as rocks (not advertised). They did re-fund 2/3 nights for me and the Hotel staff was kind. Would be an amazing hotel if I didn’t have my disability or the beds were softer!
