Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Busan

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. From check in to check out, everything was great. We had a Superior Twin Room that was of good size with ample closet space and a nice bathroom. The room came with a table, chair and a lounge to unwind at the end of the day. The staff were very helpful and greeted us every time we stepped into the lobby (3rd floor). The location was perfect. In the heart of Seomyeon with lots of food options and shopping nearby. There are a few convenience stores just steps away from the hotel. Easy walking access from the subway station that has two MRT lines. Highly recommended!

A very good hotel overall and a solid choice when staying in Busan. The location is convenient, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and within walking distance to public transportation, which makes getting around the city easy.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are actually very good for a restful sleep. Staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel offers good value for money compared to many others in the area.

This hotel is close to the major bus and train station, which makes traveling super convenient. We stayed in the double twin room but it came with two double beds which made this family of four very comfortable. It’s also next to the “food street” but it wasn’t too lively when we were there, maybe because we came during the Chuseok holiday? Plenty of bars around the hotel, including transgender and hipster.

Laundry service is standard to any other big chain hotels. Each item is priced separately. Thanks to another reviewer’s comment, we did laundry a block away in this wonderful laundromat instead.

Both bathrooms on the top floor had black mold. Told the front desk who apologized and said they would inform housekeeping. No refund was offered. Would advise staying somewhere without black mold.

Damn small hotel, small bed and bathroom. The worst thing is the shower head, how comes the side protective ring of shower head was rusted, our crew member was cutted by it. Unbearable.

Black mold on the ceilings of both bathrooms in our room. We felt dried out, sluggish, and my friend's existing cough got noticeably worse throughout our stay. Once we realized the source, the front desk offered no refund or anything of the sort. For all the praise this hotel gets about living up to Japanese standards of cleanliness, definitely a surprise. Stay elsewhere in Busan/Seomyeon.
