Ramada Encore by Wyndham Busan Haeundae

Firstly, this hotel arrival lobby is pretty small.
2. It does not have a bell boy assisting with luggage
3. It does not have room services. If you need water, go down. Need towel go down
4. They do not have cutlery which is sad.

Ramada encore is good and pretty decently located with many attractions at walking distance. Also the adjacent streets are very good for shopping, cheap eats and taking photos.
The only downside is that they have separate elevators for separate set of floors which makes it a bit if a hassle.

Reach by metro from Gimhae airport, took 1 hour plus. Best thing is Encore is just steps away from metro station and it's right in front of the most happening street of Haeundae. Just few minutes walk to reach Haeundae Beach. Plenty of restaurants along the busy street downstairs, there's even a crowded food street offering local delicacies like those in Myeongdong Seoul. Room isn't very big, just nice for a double plus single bed. One problem is the lifts could take long time if huge group came to check in because the lobby is on second floor so all guests have to go up there.

It's spring time and bit chilly outside so they do not let you turn on the air conditioning of your room. You need to open your windows to cool down your room which means you will hear the road noise more as well. Very inconvenient at night when sleeping. You have to choose whether to feel hot or be okay with the road noise. The front desk told me, they can turn on my AC tomorrow. Why tomorrow? This is ridiculous rule. Room also did not come with toothbrushes and toothpaste. So bring your own. The housekeeping can't be easily contacted via the phone. There's no way this is Wyndham Hotel standard. This is more like a budget level hotel, if not worse.

I stayed at this hotel from April 2 to April 5. On the night of April 4, I discovered that my watch was missing. I did not take it out of the hotel at any point. When I checked the location on my phone, it showed that the watch was located in a residential area, which is extremely concerning.

After checking out on April 5, I later realized that a small pouch containing decorative items had also been left in the room. The pouch contained luxury accessories worth over NT$100,000.

When I contacted the hotel, I was told that no lost items were found in my room. I find this completely unacceptable and difficult to believe. I clearly remember leaving a massage ball on the bed, which I also did not take with me. This directly contradicts the hotel’s claim that nothing was found.

Furthermore, I sent a follow-up email but received no response. Instead, I was told to wait two days and call again after the next guest checks out. This is an unprofessional and irresponsible way to handle a serious lost property issue.

I expect the hotel to conduct a thorough investigation and provide a proper explanation. The way this situation has been handled is extremely disappointing
