LOTTE HOTEL BUSAN

Had a very pleasant stay at Lotte Hotel Busan. The location is excellent, right in Seomyeon, so it’s very convenient for food, shopping, cafés, and getting around the city.

The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The bed was also very nice, which made it easy to rest after a full day out. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

One small but important detail for me: the water pressure was great, both in the shower and from the sink faucet. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient hotel in Busan, and I will surely stay here again whenever i go to Busan

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! The room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally cozy, offering a breathtaking, bird's-eye view of both the mountains and the city.
The wonderful and attentive staff deserve a special mention - their warm hospitality and impeccable service truly set this place apart. The spa area is simply magnificent; it became my ultimate sanctuary every day, providing the most incredible, deeply relaxing experience for my body after long walks. And the breakfasts? Absolute culinary masterpieces, both delicious and unforgettable!
This place genuinely felt like a slice of heaven, and the peaceful, rejuvenating energy here made my stay perfect. I am already looking forward to my next visit - I will definitely be back! ❤️

For a 5 stars hotel it was a disappointment. We didn’t expect much just the regular basic things you get at a 5star which is a good service catered to internationals. To our surprised the team in the concierge area speaks limited English which complicated to get basic information out. This is an international hotel so the expectation is you do have a team that speaks English at minimum. Secondly and this is the part that weird us out (because again this is a 5 stars hotel and a pretty expesive one), they charge for using their pool (we had it included but that was very weird to see). Also NO GLUTEN FREE neither coffee with vegetable milk options in their breakfast! Like come on! On what did you got those 5 stars! We are currently travelling around Korea and in every other hotel we had never encounter not having vegetable milk or gluten free bread, this is 2026 allergies are real and you are dealing with clients from around the world. Certainly will not recommend, just stay at the Hyatt or Signiel if you want actual 5 star service. Another small detail was that the rooms feel dated and the carpets felt quite dirty. The little sofa in our room had a stained and I think it was quite an old one so they need to renew their rooms pretty soon!

Location of hotel was excellent. Connected to Lotte mall and subway. Plenty of restaurant options in mall and surroundings. Seomyeon underground shopping street is located here. Service wasn't the best that we've experienced especially our first impression with a grouchy Porter who assisted us when we got off the cab. Check in was strict and required a queuing ticket to wait for your turn if you arrive before the official check in time at 3pm. Lobby was grand and nice. Room was small and very dated looking especially the bathroom. No smart TV, only one international plug at the working desk plus another plug at only one side of the bed. Old school safe that is difficult to use. Bathroom amenities was nice smelling though and water pressure was really strong. Overall, not the best Lotte experience we have encountered.

I would have given a four star rating if not for the exceptional service received by JASON HAN from Concierge. Ok on why the 4 and not 5 stars initially:
- We arrived early morning on the day of check in after an overnight flight. Was hoping to get a quick shower or wash at the pool/gym shower facilities. However, we were informed by the reception that facilities cannot be used before official check-in time.
- Breakfast hours are shorter than other similar class hotels. It ends at 10am and around 9.30am, the restaurant staff will go around informing guests that the buffet closes at 10am. Just before 10am, the staff will be eagerly clearing plates. It did feel we were being rushed. Would have preferred a slow and lazy breakfast experience. But I must say the buffet spread was extensive and food was generally good!
- Some staff cannot understand much English. Encountered communication challenge with staff when we called In-room dining and another with Guest Relation. Was somewhat surprised that GR is not conversant in English and that was what lead to the involvement of Jason from Concierge.
Why the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? I did some last minute shopping at the Lotte Department Store the night before the check-out date. As I was packing, I realised that the store staff had missed to pack 1 item which I was charged and paid for. Problem was the store has closed and I will be on an early morning flight the next day. First I reached out to the GR to ask if they can help me to contact the store when it opens the next day. I sensed that the GR staff did not fully understand the problem I was having and she kept telling me she had "no idea". Requested her to please check with her colleagues who may be able to help. That's when Jason came along. He came personally to my room to understand the problem and took some photos of the items received. I handed him the payment receipt and he assured me that he will go to the store the next day to raise the issue. Was already very thankful to him at that point regardless whether the missing item can be recovered.
Back home the next day, I received an email from Jason that he had went to the store and the manager there acknowledged the mistake and the missed item will be shipped to me! Shipment will be arranged by the hotel on behalf. I am truly impressed by how Jason went beyond his call of duty to help me resolve the issue and so swiftly!! Grateful for that!🙏🙏
He is definitely a great asset to the hotel and this service industry!
The missed item was delivered to my house on 5/5- just 9 days after I checked out!!

This was my first time staying at Busan Lotte Hotel despite having stayed at other Lotte Hotels throughout Korea and Vietnam. One thing for sure is that we weren't disappointed at all during our stay with all the comforts were provided. Highly recommended to stay here for those who want to have good experiences and convenient by having Lotte Department store, great food courts and Seomyeon subway station attached to the hotel.
