Lavi de Atlan

Great stay at Lavi de Atlan Busan! The location is excellent, just a short walk from Haeundae Beach with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth. A great choice for anyone visiting Busan. The assistant manager during my check in is very kind. I just hope they can change and review their baggage policy (you can only store it until 3pm of your check out date).

Some staffs’ attitude is bad when explaining the room type to me, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

The room I received was also completely different from what was advertised. I specifically booked a room with a full sea view, but the view was almost blocked, which was very misleading.
Btw, the bag can only be kept until 3pm, or 5pm the latest…

On the positive side, the room was relatively clean, although it was quite small. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

Our stay at Lavin de Atlan was a very mixed experience.

The hotel itself was good. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The restaurant was spectacular, with beautiful views, and we enjoyed having lunch there several times during our stay. While we wish there had been more menu options, the hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants, including wonderful Korean barbecue and seafood restaurants, so dining was never a problem.

Unfortunately, the customer service was one of the poorest experiences we had during our trip to Korea.

The front desk staff were rarely helpful. Often, there was no one available, and when staff members were present, they rarely greeted guests, made eye contact, or offered assistance. Most questions were met with little information or no solution. Hospitality is about helping guests feel welcome, informed, and supported, and unfortunately that was not our experience.

Another confusing aspect was that two different hotels appeared to operate within the same building and shared the same front desk area. As visitors, it was often unclear where to go, which hotel services belonged to which property, and whom to ask for assistance. We expected the front desk staff to help explain this, but they did not.

The hotel has many positive qualities, including comfortable rooms, a great restaurant, beautiful views, and a convenient location near excellent dining options. However, the lack of customer service significantly affected our overall experience.

Good hotels provide comfortable rooms. Great hotels provide great people. Unfortunately, that was the missing piece during our stay.

Perfect location and a beautiful ocean view.

The only downside was a female staff member at the front desk during my check-in around 3 PM on May 30, who came across as unfriendly. Other than that, all the staff were much friendlier and more professional.

PERFECT location! The hotel is on the strip which makes very accessible to subway, market, beach, stores and restaurants. The check in was smooth. We had an issue with our key not working and it was fixed swiftly.
The beds are comfortable.
