Exemplary hostel — I wish all hostels were like this.
Comfortable beds, everything is very clean and civilized. When I wanted to check in, there were no available beds, so I went to sleep in a sauna, but the hostel owners kindly allowed me to leave my bag for free. I also came by to use the Wi-Fi and internet. Later, when a bed became available, I stayed there for three days.
The hostel staff are amazing — very kind people. I wish them nothing but prosperity and success! ☺️❤️

My room had dirty sheets when I checked in. When I asked for them to be changed the male manager came to my private room and made inappropriate comments towards me and told me about his interest in watching porn. This made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. When I complained it didn’t seem like there will be any actions be taken into place to prevent this from happing in the future. The promised refund also has never arrived. Would not recommend this place, especially not as a solo traveling woman.

I only stayed one night and it was alright.

I didn't have any issue with theft as other people did (I don't even lock my locker) - but I think that's just highly dependent on whose staying/working and if they are trustworthy. I left my luggage in the luggage room all night, and many people with very large luggage did the same (otherwise yeah the room doesn't accommodate)

I saw some volunteers, so I was helped a bit. Otherwise everything is on your own. Which was fine for me. Self check in and out. The beds are not assigned, so you enter your room and you take whatever bed that's available.

The lack of curtains suck, but I guess it's good for cleaning purposes. I didn't have any issues with being woken up by others, although again I think it's the people I shared with.

Location is good. I picked it because I wanted something convenient for me when I metro to the PYU airport. And it was quite close to the metro station.

Gave me college dorm vibes. I was in a 6bed shared dorm. The 1st floor there are so many people all over the world. I think this is a great place if you're trying to make friends.

I had the worst experience at this hotel. Despite booking a 4-person dorm, I was given a 6-person dorm. I messaged the owner, but received no reply. The snoring was so loud I couldn't sleep at all. I reported it to Agoda support and requested that their account be suspended. You should absolutely never stay at this place.

Can't tell if i liked staying there. Just very mid hostel.

Check in and check out without communication with staff/reseption, all information i got in message. Big kitchen with everything.

In the bathroom were 3 toilets and 3 showers for a floor or two, not enough when it's busy time, luckily i didn't get in it. Also bathroom's door was transparent! Not even frosted coating, just transparent glass door :0
No curtains, you have only two options: An open window with a mosquito net or a closed one with a blackout, and in the morning (not even early, around 10 am) you will need to use a flashlight so not to turn on the general light and not disturb those sleeping

Kimchee Haeundae Guesthouse is a good budget hostel near Haeundae Beach. The property is well maintained and has spacious dorm rooms. There is a 7-Eleven on one side and GS25 and Emart on the other, making it very convenient. The reception is open only from 4–9 PM. The only downside was that the upper bunk did not have charging points, so I had to climb down every time to charge my phone. Otherwise, it is a safe and comfortable stay in the Haeundae area and is recommended for budget travelers.

Hygiene is not a high priority here. Many mosquitoes.
Good location if you want to party, 10 min walk. The stuff is really friendly :3

Don’t stay here!
There’s a construction going on next door and it feels like a constant earthquake!
The dorms are dirty and smelly. No locks on the doors, so everyone can enter the rooms and the worst organisation I’ve ever seen in a hostel.
Self Check In and Out - looks like no one is working in this place.
Toilets and shower are okay and location is decent but beside it is a horrible place with horrible beds!
