I went to Chamin Plastic Surgery for a treatment and would like to share my real experiences. The consultation process was much better than I had imagined. The doctor first listened to my requirements and then explained that the desired results could actually be achieved through another approach. Instead of simply agreeing to my request just because the treatment was more expensive, the doctor provided professional advice before letting me make my own decision. The procedure was more meticulous than I expected, and the doctor didn’t treat me any differently just because I was a foreigner. Every step of the process was accompanied by explanations of the reasons behind it, so I understood exactly why things were done in that way. The doctor’s technique was also very gentle, and I didn’t feel any discomfort throughout the whole process. Overall, it’s definitely worth trying; the service flow is very smooth and efficient.

Repair journey: Nose revision: Director Min showed me the plan with a 3-D printed model: “Your nasal bones are as crooked as if a car hit them—we have to re-cut!” It scared me so much I clutched my chest, yet the surgery turned out a success. Jaw-slimming shots: The director’s assistant injected so gently, murmuring, “See, this masseter is hard as rock—two extra sticks and you’ll get an oval face!” Recovery: Once the nose swelling subsided it looked like a built-in slim filter; my jawline became sharp enough to hang keys on! When my bestie saw me she gasped, “Did you get work done? Your bridge is higher and your face is smaller!” Summary: Real results: higher bridge + face one size smaller; a package that costs 80 K at Wonjin was only 50 K at Chamin! Pitfall: don’t chew gum after jaw shots! I sneaked some Mentos and my masseter puffed right back… Before vs. after: pre-repair I looked like an Avatar; post-repair I can fit into a size-L mask!

I once got scammed into having bone powder injected for nasolabial augmentation; half a year later the tip became infected and abscessed! My bestie said Chamin specializes in cleaning up these disasters, so we flew to Seoul overnight! Repair journey: Diagnosis: Director Min sliced open my nose and said, “Your bone powder has calcified into rocks—every bit has to come out!” I broke into a cold sweat. Surgery: While removing the powder I bit my lip from the pain, but the doctor kept reassuring me: “Don’t worry, only after it’s all gone can we switch to rib cartilage!” Recovery: The day the gauze came off my nose was swollen like a pig’s, yet I could feel the soft curve of the rib graft! Three months later the tip lifted; my friend says it looks like the second male lead’s nose in “Goblin”! Summary: Real result: bone-powder removal + rib-cartilage reconstruction—my botched nose is reborn! Pitfall to avoid: after removal don’t let it get wet! I secretly washed my hair, got inflamed, and had to take another antibiotic shot… Doctor’s quote: “A nose isn’t built by piling up bone powder; it’s sculpted with cartilage!”

I got a top up of lip filler (last done 2024 in a US clinic) and some facial balancing (cheek filler) done at chamin plastic surgery in Korea. I had a tough time sifting through all the reviews and recommendations on a lot of different platforms, and I found this clinic on Babitok (which is one of the popular platforms I was told locals use). I wanted to write a review because I wish I had something like this to go off of while I was totally overstimulated and paralyzed from the sheer amount of options available lol. I looked at all the before and afters and picked this one cos a lot of the pictures weren’t heavily filtered so you can see the results immediately post and also how it settles in a few weeks later. People also stated how the actual doctor does the consultation himself even tho it’s just for filler - a lot of factory clinics in Korea will have assistants do the consultation so this was different and one of the selling points. Had a consultation with the doctor on the 6th floor (which is where you will check in as well) The doctor was so kind but also straight to the point; I told him what I wanted and he was able to give me more realistic expectations about the results - and he said he will try to meet my requests as much as anatomically possible. Moved to the 5th floor for the treatment. Sat in a comfy couch in semi private waiting area while waiting for the numbing cream to take effect. Went to the treatment room and completed the treatments with doctor - he took a lot of care and time molding/ looking at the before pics. I got 1cc in lips and 2cc in my left cheek to fix my asymmetry. Pain was a normal level from what you’d expect at these treatments, lessening as you go by. Also they give you a shot of antibiotics/a prescription to fill at a pharmacy. Overall a great experience, staff was nice too and I’d recommend the doctor because he was very very kind and doesn’t rush you. Staff was also very patient with my questions. Also don’t be like me and forget to bring your passport to the clinic - i think they can still do a tax refund with a picture but save yourself the trouble and bring it with you. Note also I’m Korean American and fluent in Korean - I can’t speak to the ease of English communication with the staff but nothing that can’t be done with a translator/app.

The service is really good and the doctor did a good job on me with lips filler, ulthera and 10therma. I highly recommend this clinic!

I went to Chamin Plastic Surgery after doing much research and decided to do ulterapy and rejuran as well as botox around my lips and chin. Everything went pretty quickly and nicely. can’t wait to see my results!

i did botox , lip filler and ultherapy . the doctor and staff were really friendly and accomodated. No upsale and hidden cost. The doctor did the lip filler really careful and gentle.

She is a doctor in Korea who can apply Russian techniques lipfiller , she is really good at her job, she listened to me and understood what I wanted. I am a foreigner living here and it was important for her to understand me because I am a foreigner and I liked her kindness and technique. I researched many people in Korea and I was really afraid to come here because I was worried that she would not understand me but she was professional in that regard, thank you Dr.홍순비 xoxo guys
