DASIPIUM PLASTIC SURGERY

I travelled from the US to go to Dasipium specifically. I had researched so many other clinics in Gangnam and I knew that Dr Kwak was the surgeon I wanted to get a facelift with. His before and afters and documentation of the healing process on his patients was so impressive I contacted them and sent photos and videos on my face and I received some recommendations on what I would need to achieve the results I was looking for. The pricing was much more affordable than anything in the United States too. It was an adventure! Plastic surgery is so common there that I didn’t feel embarrassed walking around with bandages and swelling. I’m still in the healing process but so far I’m happy with my results! I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Kwak. Dr Kwak and his entire staff were awesome. Very kind and helpful I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The aftercare was top notch and I saw the doctor almost every single day after my surgery until I left. I was there about 2 weeks total.

I just came back from Korea where I had my facelift at Dasipium in Gangnam, and honestly, I’m so glad I did it. I’m 50 and wasn’t looking for anything drastic, just wanted to look a little more refreshed, and Dr. Kwak completely nailed it. The clinic is spotless, super welcoming, and having their own translator made things stress free. Surgery and recovery were way easier than I expected, and I even got to use their oxygen chamber which I think sped everything up. I’m only three weeks out and already love how natural everything looks. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

52 year old Caucasian male. Did lots of research online before choosing Dasipium. No doubts beforehand, and no regrets after. Dr. Kwak and his team of nurses, helpers, and translator Jude were extremely helpful, efficient, and attentive from the time I booked 6 months ago until my surgery a couple of days ago. Dr. Kwak didn't push anything on me, and explained the pros and cons of every option before letting me think and choose. I am absolutely satisfied with my early results and look forward to seeing improvements as the days go by.

I am completely satisfied with my recent surgical experience at Dasipium Plastic Surgery. Dr. Min-ho Kwak was kind, caring and professional. The clinic is quite busy and run very efficiently. As an international traveler that took lots of time and effort to find the right clinic, Dasipium was the right choice for me. I am extremely happy with my surgery outcome. Post-op care is fantastic. A great overall experience for me.

PLEASE , PLEASE PLEASE 🙏 do your research thoroughly! And be aware of this Clinic!!!! I failed to do mine and I had a massive disappointment. I have contacted Dasipium online at the end of February and have enquired about virtual consultation, however that didn't happen. A message was sent with number of suggested procedures and the price. The protocol was established and now I was waiting for either video call, ZOOM, TEAMS or face to face appointment. Nither of this happened ,unfortunately and 2 days prior the surgery,the doctor has added one more procedure,which will change the shape of my eyes ..irreversibley. I was put into an impossible situation just 48 hours prior to the date of the surgery to pick and choose like I'm in Starbucks ( decaf or normal ,late or cappuccino, suger or no sugar) But this time only was my face and I was Infront of impossible task to choose either to do the extended lower blepperoplatry but with canthopexy ( change the shape due to secure of the muscles to avoid ectropium) or not to get it at all and don't get the best result only 30% improvement. Bare in mind that there are options. ( I have learned that through research and asking other sergeants) Don't forget that there over 7850 clinic in Seoul. But I wasn't given any other options! My heart was jumping and racing like a loudspeaker on New year's Eve on Times square in NYC . The clinic already had my deposit and they were rushing me to make up my mind. Noone can make such a decision! From the star I felt truly pushed , sending a deposit in a rush securing a date ,lack of any effort to see me face to face and avoid this utter shock of a change in the protocol,lack of understanding and professional consideration for the patient. How can you not invite the patient who has already paid upfront 1.650 000 ml and is traveling nearby 15 hours. For 8 days prior they didn't find time to accommodate me ,so the doctor to avoid this massive change and change of heart due to poor organisation,lack of smooth communication, apsolutly no skills of comfort and courage to the patient. I felt like part of a industry and Money making machine. There is no sign of understanding of the emotional stress and state of the patient, their vulnerability. The emotional intelligence of the team of Dasipium with the leading role of the Doctor Kwak is non existent. Further more I understood that I will not be staying even one night,and I would not be given any meals ( after fasting 8 hours at least) ,I'll be sent home after a 6/7 hours of operation with the tubes in a taxi and no nurse around and find my way back the next day for post op service either by taxi or public transport. I have realised that there is no anastesiologost on side and Dr.Kwak is taking this responsibility,there is no emergency car in case something unexpected happens with me. So at the end I cancelled the operation and despite the fact that it was entirely the clinic mistake of 1. Not organising face to face appointment as soon I have told them I'm available (8days prior) 2.Chaning the protocol last minute and left me discombobulated. 3 Kept my money unscrupulously and did not offer any other procedure for the massive mess they have created. Disappointed is a understatement.! It was totally and utterly unprofessional,greedy and unhumain what Dasipium did! Not only I would not recommend it but if I have to put a banner in the air I would have written: Stay away from Dasipium! I have never felt so rushed ,pushed and ask to compromise with my face ! That experience of humiliation will stay with me forever! Avoid them at all cost !
