We had appointments scheduled with both the dermatology and plastic surgery departments and were looking forward to receiving professional medical advice. Unfortunately, the experience was one of the most disappointing parts of our trip to Korea. Everything went down hill after the dermatology consultation, doctor briefly spoke and after he left it felt more like a sales pitch than a medical evaluation. Expensive treatments such as Thermage and Ultherapy were heavily promoted, ( nothing else about other skin issues addressed) and the coordinator’s attitude noticeably changed when we declined. We felt judged and treated differently simply because we were not willing to commit to the high-cost procedures being recommended that is more expensive than USA. What was most concerning was that despite having a plastic surgery consultation scheduled, we were told that everything had to go through the coordinator. We were not given the opportunity to meet or speak directly with the plastic surgeon about our concerns, goals, or treatment options. It is difficult to understand how patients can make informed decisions when access to the doctor is effectively blocked by a coordinator. The atmosphere felt cold, dismissive, and focused on sales rather than patient care. We came expecting professionalism, transparency, and expert medical guidance, but instead felt pressured and unwelcome once it became clear we were not interested in the most expensive treatments. Korea has an excellent reputation for aesthetic medicine, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this clinic left us feeling frustrated, disrespected, and disappointed, and it negatively impacted what was otherwise a wonderful trip.

She communicated with me via WhatsApp for months, helping fine-tune procedures and coordinating appointments for five of us – no easy feat! I bombarded her with questions after questions and she answered them all. Jasmine organized everything smoothly from the moment we arrived until we left. Lisa and Lina were also incredibly caring and helpful as secondary support. It was a huge comfort knowing an English-speaking consultant was by my side at all times. The medical team is amazing. My surgeon was Dr. Kwon Hyo Jeong, who performed upper and lower blepharoplasty. She did a fantastic job – and the aftercare and care pack were an unexpected bonus. Now at two weeks post-op, my bruising and swelling have subsided considerably. I also had dermatology procedures with Dr. Kim Ji Eun. She truly listened to my concerns, explained everything in detail, and wasn't pushy at all. She even advised that some procedures could wait for the future rather than doing everything at once – I really appreciated that honesty. The hospital environment is very pleasant and comforting, especially for procedures that can feel scary. Nana is fortunate to have such dedicated teams. I also noticed other teams taking great care of Thai and Chinese clients as well. If you're looking for both aesthetic and dermatological procedures under one roof, I highly recommend Nana Hospital in Gangnam.

I recently had blepharoplasty at Nana Plastic Surgery in Seoul, and I’m very pleased with my experience. My consultant Jasmine was highly professional and knowledgeable, answering all my questions thoroughly and giving me confidence in my decision. During and after the procedure, Lisa and Lina were polite, patient, and attentive, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Kwon Hyo Jeong who performed the surgery was very gentle, she provided clear, detailed explanations and practical recommendations without overpromise anything. I also consulted with Dr. Kim for dermatology treatments, he was professional and not pushy at all, which made me feel very comfortable. Had a really great experience with NANA Plastic Surgery, honestly better than I expected. Big shoutout to Jasmine and Lina, they really made the whole journey so much smoother. From the very start, they were super friendly and easy to talk to. They were very patient with all my questions (I had quite a lot 😅) and always replied fast, which really helped especially since I was overseas and a bit unsure about everything at first. They also guided me through each step clearly, from consultation to the actual procedure and even aftercare. I never felt lost or confused at any point, and that made a huge difference. You can really tell they care and want you to feel comfortable, not just treat you like another customer. I was accompanied by an english speaking staff at every single point to ensure there is no language barrier in between. The clinic itself was clean, well organised, and professional. Everything was quite seamless when I was there, no long waiting or messy process. The staff were all friendly as well, which made the whole experience even better. I decided to go to Nana Plastic Surgery after seeing the results of someone I personally knew who had a surgery done there. Her nose looked very natural and well balanced to me, so I asked where she had it done, and that’s how I found Nana. From the very first step, my experience was positive. When I booked my initial consultation, I was honestly surprised by how polite, attentive, and detailed the responses were in the chat. Booking the appointment was very easy and stress-free because of this. When I arrived at Nana for my consultation, I was impressed by how clean, modern, and well-organized the hospital was. I met my consultant Jasmine (가을), who was extremely kind, attentive, and sincere. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable at every step. Thanks to Jasmine and the overall system at Nana, I felt very well taken care of. We arranged a consultation day where I could meet all the doctors who would potentially perform my surgeries. After completing the necessary pre-consultation steps such as CT scans, I met each doctor one by one in a private room. Every doctor was very polite, listened carefully to my concerns, and took time to analyze my anatomy before recommending procedures. What I appreciated the most was that the doctors were very honest. They clearly explained what procedures were suitable for me, what results I could realistically expect, and they also told me which procedures they did not recommend, even if I initially wanted them, explaining the reasons clearly. This made me feel that they truly prioritized long-term safety and good outcomes rather than just doing more surgery. For my procedures: - Dr. Choi Hyuk Joon performed my revision rhinoplasty. I also received an additional ENT examination, which made me feel much more confident about both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the surgery. - Dr. Kwon Byung Yun performed my chin implant, face fat graft, Nana’s subtle skin mini lift, and forehead reduction. - Dr. Jeong Mi Sun performed my double-eyelid surgery. Before surgery, I was able to ask additional questions through KakaoTalk and even re-consult with the doctors when needed, which helped reduce anxiety and made me feel very prepared. The surgery itself went smoothly. Recovery was honestly a bit tough for me due to swelling and bruising, which takes time, but I was able to stay in contact with my consultant and visit Nana regularly for aftercare treatments. This support helped a lot, both physically and mentally, during recovery. Now that I’ve healed, I can say that the results truly addressed my concerns without making me look drastically different or “overdone.” My features were refined in a very natural way. I still look like myself, just more polished and balanced. I don’t feel like I look like someone who had a lot of surgery, which was very important to me. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at Nana Plastic Surgery. The doctors, consultant, and staff were professional, honest, and caring throughout the entire process. I am here for a fat grafting repositioning on my face, and I am very glad I chose NANA Plastic Surgery. The coordinators are super friendly and professional. I felt so well taken care of because I had a sinus inflammation, and they did a scan on me to make sure I was in good condition for the surgery. Very luckily, I was.
