Topcloud Hotel, Gwangju

I decided to switch things up and try a different place instead of my usual spots like Hive or Browndot. I absolutely loved the interior design and lighting in the room. Having music options was a nice touch too, as it created a relaxing atmosphere with gentle tunes playing. The heating worked really well, keeping the room cozy and warm.

The bed, towels, and bathroom were all great, although there were a few minor details that could have been better. I found myself drifting off to sleep in the comfy bed, but around 2-3 am, I was startled by loud noises, like carts in the laundry room and bikes outside. It completely ruined the peaceful vibe I had.

Lesson learned—I should have splurged on a suite if I knew this would happen. Definitely avoiding the 3rd-floor deluxe room at 70,000 won; it's a recipe for sleepless nights with all that noise!

Cheap for such nice hotel! Awesome rooms and helpful team. Spoke English very well !

You can find many nice restaurants around the hotel.

This is more like a motel or 2 star hotel at best. The room was dusty, cool, there was hair in the toilet. The woman staff was not friendly and she charged an unreasonable fee for early check-in.

Nice hotel with everything you need.
