The Koryo Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for about nine days last spring.
As overseas Koreans, we were visiting our home country for the first time in a long while, and unfortunately our stay was very uncomfortable because the room temperature could not be properly adjusted.
The room was excessively hot, and when we asked whether the heating could be turned down or if an alternative solution could be provided, we were told that other guests were feeling cold and that the temperature could not be adjusted just for us.
The following day, the underfloor heating in the bathroom seemed to be turned up even more, and I remember the room temperature reaching 27°C (80.6°F).
Due to the constant temperature imbalance, every member of our family caught a cold, and we were unable to fully enjoy our planned activities during our visit.
What disappointed us most was that we received neither an apology nor any form of compensation for the inconvenience.
I understand that this is one of the older hotels in the area, dating back to when Sang-dong New Town was first developed, but the overall experience was very disappointing.
Based on this experience, would you recommend this hotel to your family and friends?

It's an old hotel and you can see it all over. Breakfast is bad with the just very basic. Rooms need refurbishment. No service in rooms and you'll have to ask for tea pouches and whitener at least twice. The worst is that while having breakfast at exactly 10 am the restaurant manager asked us to leave. We thought that he is saying that service is closed, which is ok but he literary said please leave we are now closed whereas when we were leaving he allowed a local to come in and have breakfast (Seem raciest) Stay away from this property as it is also at an awkward location. They don't even have an weighing machine to weigh your luggage. So be careful, i will not stay here next even offered for free.

Its actually good hotel clean and comfort the people working there are very friendly and they helped me a lot by arranging taxi drivers recommend me a good restaurant there is no facilities at the hotel swimming pool or a good gym but overall it’s a good hotel and they can speak engliah as well
