This hotel is built with high quality materials. Room and amenities were good. Buffet was very nice. I would stay here again next time.

Sono Calm is a large 5-star hotel composed of East and West wings.
I stayed in a Superior Twin Room, which was quite spacious and included a free minibar — a nice touch.

The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, and the bedding was comfortable.
Located right in front of KINTEX, it’s ideal for business stays, though not the most convenient for sightseeing.

There’s even a Starbucks inside the hotel, adding extra convenience.
Would definitely stay again for future KINTEX visits.

The hotel’s lobby creates a strong first impression with its bright, spacious design and high ceilings, which contribute to a sense of openness and welcome.

Upon entering the guest room, the warm lighting provided a cosy and inviting atmosphere. However, the overall décor and room layout did not quite match the standard we have come to expect from other five-star hotels we have previously stayed at. During our stay, I also became aware that several of our tour members experienced issues with their rooms, though I am unable to independently verify the nature or extent of their concerns.

The packaged buffet breakfast was serviceable but unremarkable, offering the usual range of hot and cold items typically expected in a standard hotel buffet. While it was adequate, it did not particularly stand out in terms of quality or variety.

While the hotel provides a pleasant stay and meets basic expectations, it did not deliver the elevated experience generally associated with a five-star rating. In my opinion, the property still has room for improvement in both its room presentation and its food offering to truly align with the premium standard implied by its rating.

1. When i checked in to the room didn’t provided air conditioning
2. ⁠They told me the hotel has west tower and east tower. The whole west tower which I stayed didn’t have air conditioning operated since that is winter right now
3. ⁠they told me to change to the east tower since the building that is provide air conditioning.
4. ⁠however, the room is down graded since the east building doesn’t provide that room type.
5. ⁠the price is different about 45000 KRW
6. ⁠and cannot provide any refund on that
