Booked this hotel for a single night as I had an 18 hour layover in Incheon airport. It is the perfect hotel airport. 20 min car ride from Incheon International, and they offer free shuttles to and from the airport. The room is comfy with nice beds, hot showers and a 24 hour convenience mart within the basement level of the hotel, no need to even leave. My only gripe is that the walls are rather thin so you are woken up easily by people next door. But even so for the price and convenience I recommend Royal Emporium Hotel for anyone needed a quick layover stay in Incheon.
We stayed one night at the Royal Emporio Hotel. Although the rooms were clean, there were many issues. The rooms were very cold, and the heating barely worked. The bathroom fan was extremely loud, and the hairdryer didn’t work. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The staff at the lobby were unfriendly and spoke little English. Our experience with the airport shuttle was also poor: the driver was rude and drove recklessly. Additionally, there was ice in front of the hotel that hadn’t been cleared, causing my wife to slip and injure herself. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to numerous issues and its inconvenient location.
We picked this hotel for a quick stay (2 nights - 1 booking from my friend and 1 booking for me) as we are attending a concert in Inspire Arena last May 2024. It's still far from Inspire Arena, but there are accessible bus (but they can be limited or infrequent) to the airport train lines where the shuttle to Inspire Arena can be accessed. The hotel also offers free shuttle (but at scheduled times only) from and to Incheon Airport. The facilities were nice and quite modern, and have a few choices for food around the vicinity. They also have a convenience store at the basement level, where you can also heat your food. The staff was quick, cordial, and accommodating enough and even helped us immediately when my friend called having left her passport upon leaving.
It's very difficult with the hotel as the rooms are good, quiet and comfy. The problem was their airport shuttle. They changed operating days after I booked the room and when I wanted to book the shuttle it was a hustle. When they finally agreed to make an exception and pick us up they sent us to non-existent stop 14C.
We also asked a receptionist to book a taxi for the next day at around 6 or 6:30. There was no taxi waiting for us and good luck to find one at this dead end. It doesn't look to be far from the airport but public transport seemed like long adventure. Disappointed with the service.
Bizarre place. Most of the rooms on my floor had a notice on the door about a court order and seemed to be vacant with fittings removed.
The beds are very uncomfortable, all you will feel is springs. I also don't know how they can call this hotel 'Royal Emporium Incheon Airport' on booking sites when the airport is 18km away.
