Good budget hotel. Very clean and modern room for the low cost per night! It's a completely self check-in and self check-out, so there's no front desk attendee or service.
Washing machine and drying rack available. Tons of shelves, cabinets, and even shoe shelves. Something's were a little rough feeling, like the doorknob for my bathroom was loose in the socket but still perfectly functional with lock mechanism. Half the wall was a complete floor-to-ceiling window with a nice view, and one panel of the window can open outwards a little bit to let in the cool fresh air.
Ac unit remote control is completely in Korean, but you can use google translate camera to translate and figure out which buttons to press. Water bottle provided in the refrigerator, and there's a freezer as well (both are hidden cabinet units). Water boiler with coffee and tea are also provided complimentary with paper cups.
Overall, a very good hotel pick if you're comfortable with the self check in and out. Make sure you put your name exactly as it's listed in your reservation, or else you can't pull up your reservation for check in. The key card that gets printed out for you acts both as the door key and also the light switch activator for the rest of your room.
The room is very clean and includes a washing machine and fridge, which is excellent. However, I sent a message to reserve a shuttle bus to Incheon Airport but was told there’s no shuttle service available. I don’t understand.
The bed is quite spacious. There's a kitchenette with a stove and counter for preparing simple meals. There's a washing machine and a clothes drying rack. The toilet lacks a bidet or similar equipment. The biggest problem is the bad smell coming from the toilet. Another major issue is that getting to the city center is so difficult. There is a ferry line between Wolmido and Yeongjong. The last ferry from wolmido to the hotel side at 6 PM.
Bed didn't have fitted sheets, just a flat sheet which got bunched up all night. Stupid light from the ac unit was so bright you could read a book by it stayed on all night. Weird "announcement" came over the speakers when we entered the room. The whole place has weird vibes when you don't see any staff.
Location is a little tricky as it's off the beaten path. Nice room and nice building, but the a/c in my room didn't work and it was early August. I had a hard time sleeping in a 28C / 82F room. But the room was very clean and well kept. Great little stay, 2 people max, if you have an early flight.
