Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Pangyo

New facilities but their employees are not as "new" nor nice. Located within 90% empty shopping mall, with only handful of shops. Unless you can find a good breakfast restaurant near by, which is not easy, suggest passing the hotel's breakfast buffet (starts from 7am, kidding me?) unless you are famished. Rooms are new and nice but I think they charge you extra for extra towels, which is cheap considering the price they charge for their rooms. 90 min swimming pool time is just too short. Only thing going for them is the fact that the buildings are new.

Great hotel with amazing facilities
We really enjoyed our stay at Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Payngo. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, and offers everything you need — a great pool for all ages, delicious and varied breakfast, spacious and comfortable rooms, plus a coin laundry and gym.
The only downside is the location — it’s quite far from central Seoul, though closer to Everland. During the holiday, the shuttle to the nearest station wasn’t running, which made getting around more difficult.

Pros 👍🏻:

- great rooms; clean comfy beds, luxurious bathroom amenities (CLOUD FOREST “Unbalance”, no less❤️‍🔥), air-conditioning was interesting but honestly you can’t find a fault with their rooms.

- booked the “Family Room” which has 1 queen and 1 single bed and the room is incredibly spacious to me!

- I absolutely LOOOOVE how there’s a loooooong area beside the tele to place your luggage and it really makes so much easier. Other hotels, do take note because it’s little things like THIS that really makes travellers and visitors come back!!

- Ice machine and microwave available at all levels, super nifty.

- AMAZING washing machines and dryers. Our clothes were not only thoroughly cleaned… they also smelled nice?!?! And they were FULLY DRIED!!! None of that “my laundry still felt wet”

- they have USEFUL lockers at the lobby which are literally FREE for the first 12 hours and huge! There’s also a weighing machine just in case, you know 😂😂😂

Cons 👎🏻:

- the location is reaaaaallly far from the main Seoul areas (think Myeongdong, Itaewon, Hongdae, Dongdaemun, Insadong) but the taxis / Uber / K Ride in Seoul are really cheap so I guess it’s fine. But beware of Seoul’s crazy peak hour traffic!!!! You can be stuck at the same place for a freakishly long time, unmoving.

- I didn’t manage to find the metro so it was Uber and K Ride for us everyday

- the food around here might be a tad bit more expensive than other places

- they charge you additional 22k won for a late check-out. Their check-out timing is at 11 am.

Nice clean rooms for a reasonable price.
I only wonder why we have to use plastified paper cups instead of durable glass, it is a contradiction to their policy and government requirement, not to provide one way amenities.
Anything else is good and well maintained.
Convenient located in or next to the mall.
Another point of consideration: the lobby is on the 3rd floor. It is confusing but the signs are clear. But I prefer a ground floor lobby for convenience.

The hotel is conveniently located inside a shopping mall, which made it easy for us to reach the restaurants. The pool looks like a great spot for kids to have fun. Huge thanks to Hailey for helping us with the check-in!
