Mercure Ambassador Seoul Magok

From check-in to check-out, this stay was phenomenal. The room was cleaned daily and the amenities were great. Daily water provided was a huge plus for me as I was doing a lot of walking. The neighborhood is great and it feels so comfortable and peaceful. There are many restaurants and activities right outside the hotel as well as easy transportation. 10/10. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Seoul.

Good functional 4star hotel, ticks the main boxes for an overnight stay. Main benefit very handy to Magongnaru metro station on airport line (5min underground walk). As such direct line to both Incheon and Gimpo airports so good if need to stay somewhere in transit. Had a pleasant room service salad late in evening. Breakfast buffet adequate. Service good, excellent English from staff. Only niggle I noticed was shower head only delivered narrow stream of water, no option to expand. 4star vs 5star I guess

I personally really enjoyed my stay and was very pleased with everything. Overall, it was a great exp, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful & housekeeping did an excellent job keeping my room clean every day.

The breakfast buffet was nice too, although it was the same every day. The location is super convenient with easy access to dairy shops, 7-11, and plenty of cafes and restaurants just a 3min walk from the hotel. However, if you’re planning to hang out around the city, it’s quite far from Myeongdong and other tourist spots.

All in all, I’m very happy with my choice!

Extremely good location with underground walkway connecting to train stations and malls.

Unfortunately the hotel's staffs have a pretty cold character. The breakfast is definitely not up to par for a four star hotel. There is no water refill station and they charge a fee if you request more than 2 mineral water.

Great location next to the metro and airport express. Rooms and hotel very clean and wonderful. I recommend the breakfast and would stay again ! Keep in mind that for the pool a swimming cap is needed ! But you can also buy one
