I recently stayed at the Kintex Hotel by K-Tree during my visit to Goyang-si, South Korea. The hotel is strategically located near the Kintex I and Kintex II exhibition halls, making it the most convenient option within walking distance. The rooms are neat, clean, and well-maintained. While compact, they are thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good variety of options to start the day. However, the service was average. While the reception staff could communicate in English, most other hotel staff struggled with the language, which made communication a bit challenging. Additionally, not all signage in the hotel is available in English, which could be inconvenient for international guests. Overall, my experience at Kintex Hotel by K-Tree was positive. Despite some language barriers, the hotel’s cleanliness, convenience, and decent amenities made it a good choice. I would rate my stay a 4 out of 5 and recommend it for those attending events at Kintex.
Room size for deluxe is decent. BUT
1. There is no bottled water when we checked in.
2. The cups were dirtied. Like how can it be when we just checked in?
3. Shower glass is stained with soap or shampoo and not cleaned off.
4. Door viewer has no cover for privacy.
5. Only 1 card provided for 2 guests?!?! Do we spilt the card?? Or do you mean for one of us to stay in the room with no light no power no TV when the other person takes the card to go out??
6. Lifts are accessible to everybody and ANYBODY. You don't need to tap your room card to access the floor?!?! What security is this??
7. And because you don't need a room card to access the floor, the lock on the room door looks weak then!! Just a simple left right turn to lock and unlock!! And NO, there is no door latch too!!!!!
8. No dressing table. Ladies you either don't do makeup or STAND all the way to do your make up.
9. Strangest design where the shower glass covers only 1/4 of the shower area. Which means the floor at the toilet gets ALL wet from showering!!!
10. The slippers provided are not disposable but rubber!!!! Imagine the number of people who have wore this!!! And yeah one of them looked so dirtied with stains that further proved my assumption that the slippers are worn by many others!!!
11. The staff at front desk are rude!!! This plump lady whom I can feel her unwillingness to assist with a missing floor mat. And when she came up to our floor which is just on level 3 and not 30 or 300, she shoved the towel into my hands!!! And come on, missing floor mat??? Your house keeping missed that!!!!!
HOW IS THIS A FOUR STARS HOTEL WITH SUCH STANDARD AND SERVICE QUALITY!!!!!
Great location
But room is small, washroom is smaller.
Has washer, is good point.
The hotel is open type building so it gets so cold in the winter.
It was clean and well maintained.
711 is located in the main loby and is close to everywhere.
Room was quite nice, but very small bathroom with a very narrow shower screen, so the bathroom floor gets wet also, take a squeegee.
New name is Gloucester Hotel. We stayed during their pre-opening stage. Hotel was good, convenient if you are exhibiting at Kintex. Breakfast could be better.
