When we arrived there was a huge line to get checked in. You need to get a ticket first and wait for your turn to get in the physical line to check in. Overall we waited about 30-40 minutes for checking in.
Our room is a little outdated, doesn’t really give a five-star vibe. We booked a king bedroom, but there was only one chair in the room. Basically, only one person can sit in the room if you don’t want to sit on your bed. Room is quite small as well, despite the resort being huge.
Staffs at the resort are nice and helpful. House keeping service is fine but if you leave your pajamas on bed, they will just toss it on the night stand.
The rooms we got is facing the skypool and there are loud music playing every night until 10pm. If you are sensitive to noise, probably should try to ask for a quiet room during check-in.
The room does come with free tickets to the theme park and water park.

Shinhwa World has three hotels - Marriott, Landing and World. We stayed at World, which felt like the best balance in terms of price and location. Check-in was smooth (before 3pm too), and staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

Our Junior Suite was spacious, clean and well-equipped - TVs everywhere, even in the bathtub. Affordable food options were right downstairs. Parking can be a bit of a walk depending on the wing, but nothing too crazy.

Overall, a really solid stay and one we’d happily return to. Only hiccup was no air-con during winter, but their troubleshooting and service were impeccable - a standing fan plus open windows worked well enough. Great as a first or last stop in Jeju, especially if you’re travelling with kids or visiting in winter.

Super hotel! The outdoor sky pool with an incredible view, really nice and friendly staff — I'll definitely be booking rooms here again and coming back for sure.

Jeju Shinhwa World is a strong recommendation if you are traveling with family (especially kids), have transport sorted (car advised), and plan to stay mostly within one resort hub. The cleanliness, staff service and the all-in-one resort model are definite strengths.

However, if you’re after a boutique, scenic stay closer to local culture and off-resort experiences, you might want to compare with smaller, more centrally located options on Jeju.

This is the worst hotel i ever stayed at. Strictly no early check in and the staff dont even bother to register you first to make things happen faster when room is available or at 3pm which is their chrleck-in time. They make everyone wait at the lobby and slowly produce the check in registration after 3pm. All staff just stand at the counter and wait before that. Horrible experience at Jeju and really gv me a very bad experience for my first and this should be my last vacation in Jeju, horrible place and hotel culture.
