We returned to our room and literally catch cleaning man opened my purse and in front of our eyes put money out of it into his pocket.
After noticing us he put back the purse. We said where is money and he just pulled back out of his pocket money and gave back. Like nothing happened.
We informed receptionist and received response that it was misunderstanding and he just wanted to move our bags (by moving bag he meant opening a small bag, taking out purse, taking money out of purse).
We asked to call police. It was longly ignored and trying to explain that it is long time working employee and that we are mistaken. No any attempt to check the situation was not happening.
Finally we got police, which is not speaking English. It was difficult to explain the situation as receptionist all the time talked to them in Korean. However, police understood what happened and initiated the investigation.
We were surprised as receptionist did not even attempt to check the situation and looks like it is not first time happening here.
The hotel does not have safe boxes and says they are monitoring CCTV (apparently in case of the incident they are not keen to look at them).
By behavior of receptionist and cleaning man it is very possible that stealing is their common business.
All is good with a property as such, but you never know where it could kick with such personnel. We also heard from other guest that someone just entered their room at 8am and left noticing them, they did not understood who it was. Very unsafe place.
👍Good
- Easy travel from Incheon Airport by bus 6011 (17,000 won). The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
- The room was clean and a comfortable space for two people.
- Comfortable bed.
- The staff are nice.
- If a room is available before the checked-in time, they allow checked-in. (But I think the arrival time and the checked-in time are not too long; 2 hours is enough.)
- They gave me the amenities and told me that customers can ask for additional ones.
- There are a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. At midnight, it is still crowded with people.
- I don't know if there are staff standing by for 24 hours or not. But when I came back at 3:30 AM, there was one staff member at the counter.

👎Bad
- Cannot control the temperature. It's controlled by staff.
- There are only two light switches in the room. One is for the toilet and the other is for all the lights in the room. We cannot turn off the light in only the bed area and leave the hallway light on. If we turn off the master bedroom light, the room will be completely dark.
- No peephole
- The lights do not automatically turn on when you enter the room. You will only receive one room key card, and you must take it with you when you leave the room. So when you return to the room, it will be completely dark and difficult to find the card slot to insert the card to turn on the light.
- No bidet
- No smart toilet, no heated seat. So in the winter season, it is very cold.
- Noise from the road. I was in room 701, and the noise from the road was very loud.
😃 Note
- There is no door for the bathtub area. It will be interesting if you come with your partner, but I don't recommend it with friends. Solo travel is okay.
Someone unlocked our door twice. We kept quiet the first time but door didnt open. Few minutes later, the door unlocked again and we quickly made noise. Nobody came in. We were due to check out that day so we couldnt be bothered to raise it to the front desk staff who dont speak Korean.
We suspected someone entered our room on one of the days where we left the room in a rush and left the tv on. We came back and tv was off. We didnt think much about it, thinking maybe tv was set to eco saving mode. Until the unlocked door incident then we are sure our suspicion was right.
Middle aged, ear length male front desk staff was rude. Few occassions, this staff and a handyman mumble to themselves about us in Korean. Extremely rude.
Toilet was tough to shower. Evident from the very battled shower head that shows it has dropped multiple times. It dropped a couple of times too during our use.
The bedsheet had stains but we were simply too exhausted to even raise it to the staff so we used our towels to cover it.
There was a English speaking bespectacled gentleman and he is the only saving grace in this hotel.
Location is good.
The location is good, right near subway, and very safe but the rooms are smelly and air conditioner didn’t work. Bathroom is what actually smells and shower head kept breaking. Initial room I was given was NASTY, with nasty walls. Some of the hotel staff was helpful, others were not.
Some of our belongings were stolen by staff, who deliberately blocked the corridor security camera by opening another door. Despite our repeated requests, the reception team failed to take any meaningful action or assist with the investigation. We do not recommend this place — your safety is not guaranteed here.
