Hotel RegentMarine Jeju

I was so disappointed by the overall experience that I did not even feel like taking photos. That is why I have none to share.

I honestly cannot understand how this hotel is rated 4 stars.

The worst part was the noise. Strong winds blew throughout the night, and the building made loud cracking and creaking sounds as if it were splitting apart. It was genuinely unsettling, and I have never experienced anything like this in a hotel before.

Be aware that aircraft noise is frequent in this area due to its proximity to the airport.

The property feels far more dated than the photos suggest. The hallways are dark and gloomy, and the overall atmosphere is closer to an old motel than a four-star hotel.

When I opened the curtains, a noticeable dusty smell came out, as if they had not been cleaned for a very long time.

The fabric sofas in the lobby looked dirty enough that I did not feel comfortable sitting on them.

There is no sauna.

The outdoor swimming pool on the third floor is exposed to views from surrounding buildings, which made it feel lacking in privacy.

The one positive aspect is the location. Having Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema and D&DEPARTMENT JEJU by Arario nearby was a nice consolation.

Amazing value and would recommend. Rooms were comfy and spacious; we did not opt for a sea view as we were only staying one night before leaving Jeju, but I’d say go for it if you’re staying longer or if it’s your “main” accommodation for a holiday. Location is, as others have noted, quite good and within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.

Parking is available in the compound itself (albeit a bit narrow for large cars) and also in the surrounding area so that is ideal for those renting a vehicle.

We didn’t add in the hotel breakfast but took away coffee from the little Illy coffee kiosk in the lobby.

There were many cabin crew and pilots staying at the hotel which gives confidence in the brand and hotel as well.

Another note to say that I mistakenly thought check-out was at noon instead of 11am - they were kind about it and graciously gave us some extra time to check out accordingly.

Stayed on 31st March - superior twin room.

Hotel room is clean, comfortable with ocean views. It’s conveniently located just a 15-minute taxi ride (approx. 6,000–8,000 KRW) from Jeju International Airport.

The hotel’s location is a major highlight:

A GS25 convenience store and a bakery right on the premises.

Infront of the hotel is a wonderful oceanfront esplanade, next to Tapdong plaza with seafood restaurants

Right Behind: Convenient access to McDonald’s, Martro supermarket, BHC Chicken, and local restaurants.

Short Walk: Only 12 minutes to Dongmun Traditional Market and the Jungang Underground Shopping Center.

Short Ride: A quick 10-minute taxi will take you to the famous Yongduam Rock.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the service was absolutely fantastic since the very beginning. The ladies from the front desk helped us to save our bags and even gave us the instructions in Spanish. We felt very welcomed and her Spanish was great! The staff was very kind and attentive.

Room was spacious n bed was very comfortable. Location also great for taking walks along the coast.

Very convenient that fried chicken is available just downstairs. However forget about the coffee downstairs, was just so-so and alittle pricey.
